Hi all, so the worst has happened. My family and I have unfortunately been kicked out after not being able to pay for a week. So now we're sorta just out in the streets, trying to figure out what to do. I'm going to try and get back to the old shelter I was at before while dad phones a friend that'll hopefully help him. I would say that my comms are open but unfortunately with us having nowhere to love right now, that simply wont be possible. Of course I'm hoping to find somewhere soon but if it's at the same shelter I was at before, they heavily discourage freelance since they have a transitional housing system, meaning I won't be able to work for a while.
I'm working with my good friend sierra to hopefully set up a gfm in order to cover basic things like food and water costs, needs that are absolutely immediate right now. But I'm gonna be putting my support links below if anyone is interested in helping us. Obviously it's not required, you all have done more than enough for me, but since we're now frfr homeless™, we don't have many outlets for help. Anything is appreciated, even something small. It goes a long way now that things are the way they are.

I contemplate the happy faces of people around me here in Ireland and reminisce about the happy normal life my family and I had before the war. A life that turned into a distant memory for us and was replaced by an unending series of horrible nightmares.
Unlike my family in Gaza, people here have access to drinking water, all types of food, electricity, and a roof over their heads. Above all, they are safe, and I cannot help but wonder if they genuinely do appreciate these blessings in their lives enough.
People seem relaxed and laughing wholeheartedly around me in Ireland. I wish I could laugh too, but I am crushed way beyond recovery on the inside. I was evacuated by my Irish college after five months of living the horrors of war in Gaza. I hope you will never know what it feels like to live in constant fear and worry and be horrified by the most sickening and scary nightmares every single night while you are far away from your family in such circumstances.
When did my people in Gaza cease to be human beings worthy and deserving of a normal life? Has it become normal now for my family in Gaza to be starved and killed while the whole world is watching the genocide? If that is the case, then you will have to excuse me if I seek every avenue to bring them to Ireland and start a new normal life like all people here around me.
I was assured by the Irish Reugee Council (IRC) and lawyers in Ireland that there is hope I can reunite with my family in Ireland. In difficult times, it is hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. For me and my family, you are literally our light and hope for a better life.

After months of uncertainty, we finally have a glimmer of hope. My wife is expected to evacuate to Ireland in early August with the support of my Irish college. At the same time, other members of my family are hoping to evacuate temporarily to Egypt while they wait for their reunification visas to join us in Ireland.
But we cannot get there without your help.
Every step toward safety comes with overwhelming costs (evacuation, border crossings, temporary accommodation, travel, visa expenses, and the challenge of rebuilding our lives after everything we have lost). These expenses are simply beyond our family's means.
If you have already donated, thank you for giving us hope. If you are able to help again, or if you can share our campaign with others, it could make the difference between my family remaining in danger or finally reaching safety.

Hi all, making a new post to hopefully get more reach because things are very dire for us at the moment. For those who don't know me, my name is Link, I'm a twenty four y/o artist and my family and I have been homeless since Nov. 2021. We were in a shelter but we were suddenly kicked out and placed into a motel. We were promised a month would be paid for when it was just a couple of days, leaving me to do artwork in order to help my family have somewhere to stay.
We are in a desperate situation at the moment, having not been able to pay for over a week now. Work is very slow at the moment and my posts haven't been able to get much engagement on my other socials, so it's been a bit tougher than usual to cover the usual 60$ a day to cover the room. We now currently need 382$ to cover today or we won't have anywhere to stay and I'm desperately hoping for any kind of help, no matter how small. Anything at all would be a blessing to us since it's been radio silence this entire week. We don't have anywhere else to go so it'd mean the absolute world to my family and I.
