Get ready to have your mind blown.
You've gotta fight the beast inside And all the while enjoy the ride You've gotta keep an open mind And willingness to change
Mayday Parade (One of Us)
When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.
Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist
The fear of defying the norms of our unforgiving society comes conformity. People tend to lack guts to stand up for what we believe in, afraid of being judged, being ostracized.
Known as the epicenter of world marine biodiversity in the the Philippine’s Visayan sea, Gigantes Island is a hidden Paradise that is worth to be uncovered. It is located on the northern coas…
This definitely goes to my bucketlist!
Regrets a waste of time and plans will change. Oh, some for the worst, some for the best, You know you can't always get your way. So worried about what's next, you lost today.

Lesson Learned from my last trip
Double birthday celebrates doubles the fun they say. Well, this is the second time to have a beach celebration with Celestine Jung.
Planning a trip isn’t always easy. But sometimes, the hosts don’t give too much effort in organizing it. Lucky for us, everything doesn't always have to be well planned. Just bring the things you think you need and importantly, great company.
Just have a core group that's sure to go, the rest will come along. For about half our company there, that trip was kind of impromptu for them. But actually, we decided this weeks ago without really planning the details and all. Our chapmates knew about the plan but without any clear details except for the date.
A place new to everyone is always an adventure. Nobody knew exactly where we were going. The one who suggested the place didn’t come along. When we arrived at the town, we had to stop to ask for directions and had to check out other beaches before deciding where to stay. Typically, Wrong Turn jokes became the source of fun as the night got darker and we’re yet to reach our destination
It really is best to have your own car to use. Chipping in for gas is cheaper than buying a bus ticket back and forth. Also, bringing other stuff needed wouldn’t be as much of a hassle like pots, food containers and whatnot. Best of all...
SIDE TRIPS! That would be too troublesome when commuting. The next town, Tuburan, happens to have a spring called Molobolo so we went. One of our companion (he arrived on the second batch 5 hours later) is from that town so we went gatecrashing to have buko at their place too. His mother was too kind to feed our hungry tummies for lunch as well!Â
Having brought an action cam, it makes you forget the bulky DSLR camera. When I was about to finally use the DSLR, the battery was missing. I though it was left at home with the charger only to find out that it wasn’t there. It was in my bag the whole time but I got complacent having the action cam to panic about not using the DSLR.
When going to the beach, prepare to get drunk even if you’re not an alcoholic drinker. Friends like mine would gang up on the non-drinkers for fun. I should have known better as this is the second group of friends I have that has done this!Â
If someone has a plastic deck of cards, use it. Don't use the nice one from SG unless there's nothing else or it might get spilled by whatever stuff your bunch is drinking.
With all that, you couldn’t say that things didn’t go as well as planned because there was nothing to expect really.
This is definitely one of those times that unplanned trips are better than overly organized one.
Baby I'm living louder, dreaming longer tonight. Baby I'm fighter harder, loving stronger tonight. Cause we're all just kids who grew up way too fast. The good die young but the great will always last. We're growing older but we're all soldiers tonight
