“Aah–” Elise nodded, knowing who she was referencing to now, she knew the feeling of not knowing anyone’s name though, even after only being there for a few days, she knew that it would definitely be hard to keep on top of all of the different people, let alone know where they were from; it was a commitment in itself, she was sure. “Yeah, I know Syd, I remember her saying that she was from some place in Canada or something but yeah, aha, we share the Blackhawks in common, I think she lives there now- I’m honestly not sure.” She chuckled, shrugging, “I’m not even that interested in sport but hey, there you go. As for Lilah- was that her name?- yeah? I’ve not her from her yet, but it’s cool to know that we’ll have something to talk about when we do, although Chicago in my opinion really isn’t that great.” She mused, nodding to herself; after having done the once around of the various shops, visiting landmarks and such, it was a pretty basic city. Elise definitely wasn’t passionate about it, that’s why she made an effort of travelling so much.
Taking more of a step back as Ryann began to talk to her about her campaign and what she gets up to in spare time, the blonde smiled, nodding along as she took it all in. She was a very interesting person, that was certain and inspiring too, “Wait, you’ve been arrested for it?” She asked, raising an eyebrow, of course she knew it would be in aid of the cause she was standing for but the level of dedication really was admirable. “That’s so cool, and it’s so awesome how much the campaign has taken off for you, like you said, I’m pretty sure that there wasn’t a single blog or magazine or newspaper in the US or even the world that hasn’t been talking about the cause.” She reasoned, leaning back a little to be able to look at her again. “That seems cool, I kind of intend to start off with a bang tonight- I’m going out with one of the girls somewhere, but I can already tell that for the rest of the time that I’ll most likely be stretched out in bed of an evening, eating some weird, veggie pizza even though I’m not a vegetarian and watching Netflix– I tend to revert back to an overly-relaxed kind of slob when I don’t have my camera to keep me pre-occupied.” She explained, smiling as she shrugged it off. “But I’m sure I’ll find something to do… Mm, so what made you come on the show?” She asked, pursing her lips as she tilted her head to the side curiously.
“I’m not one for sports either, honestly. Both because of the sports aspect and the fact that a girl making a high school football team is somehow, in this day and age, still breaking news. That’s a rant for another day though; I won’t bore you with my feminist lectures, since I’m sure you already know plenty about it,” she said, scrunching up her face a little. Ryann definitely had a tendency to go on about feminist topics, when given the chance, but the last thing she wanted to do right now was scare away someone she was genuinely interested in getting to know more about. “Oh, yeah, for sure! I think I was up to...about fifteen arrests, give or take. The thing is, they can’t charge you for it, unless you resist the arrest, because it’s not illegal to be topless in the state of New York. So, technically, I don’t have a criminal record at all.” It was a weird subject to speak about, cause most people would assume, after being arrested so many times, there was no way she should be wanting to keep fighting it. Which, really, was the exact reason why she kept doing it.
“That sounds like a fun night. A good welcome, for you, for sure. I highly recommend checking out the theatre room, at some point. Even though I’m about eighty-five percent sure people have definitely had sex on every single one of those couches before.” The thought was gross, obviously, but a good pile of blankets and a good movie to keep you distracted from the fact that you were sitting on a couch someone was fucked on, it was still usually well worth it. “Um, partially I needed a break from work and the campaign. I also, while it seems insane and highly unlikely, wouldn’t be too upset if I did manage to find ‘the one’ here. But, enough about me. What brought you here?”
