AMBITION

Does your muse like rough or soft sex?

I’d say in general, she prefers rough, but being that she is with Braeden, it’s a little different. Azanae views him to be just about as rough around the edges as her (though if you’d asked, she’d peg him as the ‘weaker’ of the two.) However, because he is also so rough around the edges, having a gentle time with him is very special, and something she feels is reserved for between the two of them specifically, like he would otherwise be rough with those he didn’t have such deep feelings for, and same applies to her.

Hair or clean shaven?

Azanae could be either, really, depending upon her “mood” at the time. I’d say she leans more toward shaven, but she will have bouts where she doesn’t care to conform to what to her can seem like “just another expectation”, and she meets and doesn’t meet it when she pleases, just to show that her choices are her own.

Does your muse like to cuddle?

She wouldn’t admit it, but there are times when she feels affectionate. Most generally when she’s particularly tired. She also may make excuses to be closer when bothered by something emotionally or mentally, but more often than not would not openly express the issue.

Two headcannons you have for your muse that you’ve never told anyone about:

Azanae has a secret soft spot for kids, but she’s terrified of it. For this reason, she often will avoid contact with them because she is honestly uncomfortable with that side of herself -- it comes naturally, but at the same time feels entirely foreign.

She collects stones and shells and sometimes feathers, and keeps them put away where the won’t be found. She doesn’t want anyone getting the wrong idea.

Three things your muse likes doing in their free time:

Though she won’t openly admit it to most that ask (aside from braedensunstorm himself), she does actually like spending time with him.

As she comes to the end of her pregnancy, she enjoys making plans for the baby.

Watching fights at Brawl’gar, and having a drink with Cyne.

Two things your muse regrets:

Allowing herself to be so foolish with the captain of her ship before the mutiny in which she later became captain.…

Not enough time with Cyne since the baby.

Being ordinary.

People she is close with abandoning her, or it going wrong in ways it has in the past.

DESCRIBE YOURSELF WITH THREE FICTIONAL CHARACTERS. IN ORDER FROM TOP TO BOTTOM: Pam De Beaufort. Pam is straight forward, says what she means, has low tolerance for idiocy and has never heard of the word “filter.” In this way, she perfectly fits Azanae. Jessica Pearson. While Azanae can be brash, she’s smart when she wants to be, and her threats are not always so blunt/obvious. She has a simmering anger to her also, and Jessica certainly has no issue being a woman in charge. She’s an authoritative figure who doesn’t put up with any shit. Annalise Keating. Once again, wit is a factor here. But further, Annalise has a sass of her own, and a lack of faith in others -- both things Azanae and herself have in common. Further, she seems to struggle with “traditional” roles, but is not altogether heartless, and seems to have a desire for a place in this world despite her domineering and intimidating nature. There wasn’t a time Azanae would ever be anything other than a ‘new’ mother, or so she believed. It didn’t slide over her skin the way being a captain had, or the easy way she slid into a mischief a brand all her own.Despite the young child, she did find time for her own hobbies and adventures of a sort and tonight those adventures had riled her well. Returning to the manor, she had a slight sway to her step and the scent of whiskey on her breath. Time with Cyne often led her to indulge in such things. Of course, Thaellan was left in capable hands; the same help Braeden had continuously used for his daughter of a prior marriage. Boots scuffed against the floor as she slid the door to a close behind herself, slipping quietly toward Braeden’s study as opposed to the bedroom. Perhaps it was some rogue notion of romanticism that had her thinking perhaps he would wait up. Fiery curls were a charming mess across her cheeks, some of them having weaseled free of the messy, loose bun atop her head. One hand braced itself against the doorway, absinthe-shaded eyes flickering to and fro across the form of him, obviously absorbed in some thing or another. She brought the toe of her boot roughly against the door frame, just enough to make a deliberate noise, clearing her throat in the most misleadingly delicate way. The tip of her tongue skirted over her lips, stalking in feline fashion to press herself to his back, leaning down to offer a prolonged kiss, drawing away to gently swipe a strand of hair behind his ear and whisper into it. “Why, good evening, Mister Sunstorm.”

3. What’s your character’s favourite scent?

I wanted to answer this a few days ago, but I was unable to due to a lack of information.

I’m just going to wing it!

Please forgive me for the lack of detail, some of the details we weren’t quite able to work out.

Since Azanae isn’t really a perfume kind of girl, I’d have to say that Braeden’s favorite scent is her hair. The herbs in the soaps she uses to wash it are one of the things that help him feel at home now, and he would be hard pressed to sleep without her presence beside him.
