No, perhaps he heard it wrong. Why would someone has laidback as Hikaru Kusakabe would come to him, right after class, in the most unexpected time of the day just to tell him this? They had never spoken to one another before and he couldn’t possibly comprehend what changed his mind.

“I… It’s not that I can’t read the board. I merely can’t read the notes.”

Rihito precised as he let the music sheets rest loosely upon his lap. From where he sat atop of his desk, he finally managed to rise over his bafflement and lightly nudged his glasses into their rightful place onto the bridge of his nose.

“I have been trying to practice on my own, but maybe it wasn’t enough.”

He muttered the last part, lowering his head and lightly grasping the sheets up and towards him as if to make sure that his own words rang true to him. He could agree with himself that he still couldn’t read them.

“You can read them so well. Are you in a band or something?”

He inquired, glancing upwards only to tense at how close the other was; peeking over his shoulder and pointing a part of the notes to him. Surely there was proper vocabulary to describe what it was, but he simply didn’t know what it was. He was never really good with music, but as long as Hara-Sensei would agree to let him pass, then maybe those private lessons didn’t sound so bad, after all.

“A guitarist… I… Sure, then. Thank you.”

👀 honestly, who is your favorite girl in camp?

“Ah ha! A man after my own heart. You have a good eye, sir Gregor. I must admit that I have never paid much attention to it until now. I treat them all equally, for they all deserve to be treated as princesses. I would say that Severa’s spite and feisty behavior always makes me want to tease her more, but other than that, I do not see myself pursuing her more than for my own mere desire for entertainment. 

Well, now that you have brought it into the light, there aren’t a peculiar woman that strikes my fancy since all of them turn down my advances and I would never force myself upon them, but if I did have to pick a “favorite”, I would perhaps think of…

Lucina is always pleasant to hang out with… especially when I can steal her mask and parade around with it, but… huh… that is when she ISN’T there. Quite peculiar.

Cynthia is full of energy, but mayhaps a tad bit too much for my liking. Of course, there is Severa, but I spoke of her already. Noire is… quite  extreme in a way. Nah is kind and playful. Kjelle is stronger than I am; she would probably think that she could squish me! Morgan always has her nose in a book, so I can not possibly think of disturbing her.
