Marcus Pierce is the worst thing that’s happened to Lucifer. The character is just dull and is bringing down the show for me. The Cain reveal didn’t even bring anything to his character. I’m just ready for him to die or go off somewhere. He’s sucking up the screen time that the writers could be given to characters like Ella, Linda or Dan who barely get any. It really said something that we’re towards the end of the season and Amenadiel is just now finding out Charlotte is still alive. Just shows how much Pierce has been taking over the show when our original mains have become irrelevant for the most part.
I get that Chloe needed a love interest to give Lucifer a push in the right direction but did it have to be a dude that is emotionally manipulating her, using her and doesn’t give a shit about her? Her character deserves better than that.
The whole scene where Pierce was hovering over Chloe at dinner while he was trying to pursue her was so damn uncomfortable to watch. The character just disgust me.
