on international women’s day don’t forget the day was started by jewish socialist women & immigrants striking against unfair labour conditions and the first marches that began the international women’s day movement were organized by socialists as well. it isn’t just some uwu solidarity good feel day, it is explicitly a day to talk about labour, to show solidarity with working class women, to strike back against capitalism, and if your women’s day organizing leaves behind women of colour, immigrants & jewish women, focuses on how women should “lean in” & acquire corporate power over others, you’re fucking up bad.

Hey tumblr 😭 I’m coming too you all with a heavy heart. I’ve found myself in a very hard situation. I’m 20 years young living with my girlfriend and also struggling. This is our first time getting a house together after years of being together so we thought it would be much smoother than how it’s actually going 😢. Everything is taking a toll on me at once. I moved out of my moms less than a month ago and now I’m homesick and on top of that I can’t manage too keep up with my my house and car payment. I didn’t expect for it too be soo hard. My rent and car not is due on the first and on top off all that I have to get me and my girlfriend a plane ticket on the first because my mom had to get a hysterectomy and needs me too babysit my 4 siblings 😔 I really want too be able to help her and myself it’s just all soo frustrating. (feb 15th 2021) hey remaking this post bc the last one slowed down… i’m currently without income, and i have no money until i can sort out funding for my schooling. i’m trying so hard to get in contact with my band for funding, but with all the messages and calls i’ve been making, i’ve heard nothing back from them. 

its halfway through the month, i have bills i have to pay, i need to get myself some groceries, and i’m really feeling the pressure in trying to secure funding for march.

i’m a two spirit person starting a school program that’ll help me get a job as a family support worker at the end of the program, but for now i’m without any money because of my circumstances, and anything that you can give me will be a great help. thank you for reading, and thank you to those who have been able to help, and please keep yourself safe
