all i can say is that this one week brought us the closest we’ve ever been to the model harry and niall singer/songwriter au and that alone is enough to keep me going for the rest of time probably.

#narry #they meet on the set for the video of This Town #nialls only ever seen harry's shoots in passing but they're strange and surreal but fitting with harry's long hair #but now the hair is gone and he looks almost unrecognizable in this large red coat with what can only be described as a respectable jumper #on underneath #and when they hand harry a pint niall almost laughs because harry looks so out of place #until he downs it in one go after the take wiping his mouth on the sleeve of that ridiculous coat #in the breaks between takes harry asks him about his guitar #he's always wanted to play but never took the time to sit down and learn #the video comes out a couple of weeks later niall's cheeks go pink at their matching respectable jumpers onscreen together #rumors are flying as to who This Town might be about #niall's only been on the scene for a week but his easy laugh and his charm make sure that his heartbreaking single gets to number 1 #but the truth is niall can barely remember himself because harry has just completly outshone everything else in niall's life #i honestly don't remember anything before this now ok THANKS

what he says: i met a man on the tube said harry's a good actor

what he means: every time i settle down in front of the telly i've got harry ringing me up to read his lines at me. 'help, i'm dying, i've got a scrape on my wrist,' that sort of thing. i've told him if he needs help, ask the director. i've told him he's got an assistant for this sort of thing. then he tells me it's me he needs and what do i think about the Method? he can stuff his method, i've got a match to watch and rory mcilroy on the other line.

what he says: the first i saw of harry's haircut was in a picture online

what he means: when harry cut his hair he sent me a lock of it tied in a black velvet ribbon. there was a note with it, something about keeping hair in lockets and soldiers going to war and sweethearts left behind. i didn't have time to read the whole thing, so i just filed it for now. i call it a file…it's a biscuit tin labeled 'harry's weird shite.' i'm gonna sort through it all someday.
