sometimes the consumerism in age regression communities makes me stress out! When I was an actual little we were poor… I couldn’t get a jellycat stuffie or an American girl doll, or hundreds of different personalized pacis and gear. Me being small was just me blowing homemade bubbles, drawing with chalk, making mud pies, coloring, and watching cheap cable! Being little is looking at cool bugs, making arts out of construction paper, homemade playdoh, or just resting and doing nothing at all.
I guess what I’m trying to say is- you don’t have to buy a bunch of things to “be an age regressor” or to regress. Nah, you just need yourself, your imagination, and a lil magic and heart. You can be little without anything!!!
i love the idea of like, a whole group of regressors chillin in headspace with each other! like a daycare room ran by some cgs n lots of activities for all regressors to enjoy! from soft n simple books to more complex ones- ooh and then think of the little arts n crafts tables!! making silly lil animals w googly eyes. anddd storytime in a circle! maybe even singin silly songs together and movie days!! snacktime with cut fruit, macaroni, chimken nuggies, all that stuffs!! I just REALLY wanna play n be tiny with someone else!! its so funnn- might be projectin cuz i didnt ever have playdates BUT IMAGINE!!

they need jobs for age regressors like i kno child labor is illegal an all but give me just a little somethin easy so i can save all my baby monies so can buy stuffie and like all the stuff i always want but the job have to be easy and fun or i will quit but something like quality control at the stuffie factory or crayon tester or snacks taster or ah mattress testing for naps idk but also it can only be like 3hrs MAX
calling regressor protective services rn bc - I was not waken up by kisses, picked up n carried to the kitchen, put on cartoons while breakfast is cooking, had breakfast cut into cute shapes n fed - I was not given a bubble bath with toys that I picked out n I was NOT dried off with a cute hooded towel!! >:c - I didn't have a caregiver to pick out my outfit and put them on me n brush my teethies n style my hair cute - where is my playtime? I wanted to play dollies or have a tea party or go outside and pick flowers or go super high on the swing! - my daily requirement of baba time was not fulfilled - I did not get my uppies upon request - I didnt get to go to the toy store to get a new toy or fwend...or the park to go feed duckies....or a trampoline park for my floof zoomies - not once was I called princess, kiddo, bug, froggy, muffin, sweetie, baby, or anything else - no one read me a story while snuggled up n then tucked me in and kissed me goodnight grrrr!!! this is preposterous!
Mother... I crave toddler gremlin mode...
here is a random list of things I'd do as a toddler regressor that would, at best, put a smile on my mommy's face, or at worst, drive her crazy /lh /hj - letting her help get me out of clothes, while being very specific about what I will do myself. "mama stapphh I do pants!!" "okay angel" as I kick off my pants and then whine for her help, and of course she's used to this so she continues - following my mommy around everywhere just for funsies! or just popping up randomly, "hi mamaaa!" and proceeding to wave alot or just grab/hold onto her randomly "aww hi there muffin, you just want mommy's attention, hmm?" with LOTS of nods afterwards - asking the most random questions and or dropping random facts, "mama cougar da biggest kitti dah can purr." "oh really? thats so cool!" or "mama wy pengies cant fly?" "im not sure bub, they evolved to be unable to overtime" - the looping of kids songs I like in the background. "freeze! time to switch gears, use your hands to make elephant ears! now wiggle wiggle wiggle wiggle your ears!" - getting upset when bathtime is over because I just wanna play moreeee! "cmon princess, bathtime is over and mamas unplugging the drain to get you all dried off now." cue the pouts - also getting fussy when I'm tired because everything is harder n no longer fun! my mama noticing im not as energetic n seeing the signs its bedtime or naptime. "here, we're gonna start your nini routine. I know baby, I know, but your toys and cartoons will be here tomorrow too." cue the sleepy compliance - dealing with accidents: the immediate sniffles/cries, need for paci, quick action for a change, and soothing bounces. "shh it's okay, mama has you all clean now, big feelings but you're all dry n cozy little one." - the art of decoding toddler speak... "mama book!" "aww, does my little fairy want mama to set up somewhere to color?" "noooo! floof wan mama book" pointing to the book shes reading "oh, you want mama to read this to you?" "uh huh" "well, it's a bit of a boring grown up book, but anything for my sweetheart." cue the nestling into her lap :)

regressors with picc lines, ports, or tunneled hickmans
regressors who have ostomoys, catheters, or other stomas
regressors who have drains
regressors who are house bound or bedbound
regressors who are on oxygen or trached
regressors who use manual or power wheelchairs, who wouldn’t be able to leave their beds without them
we are so often forgotten in posts about disability & regression. but i want you to know that i see you and i love you. you deserve to regress and to see yourself in your community. you deserve softness & care.
your regression is perfect in its differences. and i hope one day, disabled regression will truly be seen & understood here

Who swear and make dirty or dark jokes while regressed.
Who aren't skinny or conventionally attractive.
Those of you who smoke weed while little.
Who don't use or want gear like pacifiers or sippy cups.
Who throw tantrums and get outwardly upset while little.
Those of you who regress to an older kid instead of a baby or toddler.
Who prefer dark colors over cutesy pastel ones.
Who would rather wear pjs than a onesie.
Those of you who don't want or need a caregiver.
Age regressors come in all shapes and sizes, and your regression is beautiful no matter what it looks like. We love you and support you regardless of how you regress. -🦋
