Living in a country with significant national trauma (both generational and recent) is very humbling because I can't think my silly problems are the biggest when people are dying. It has made me infinitely more grateful to Hashem for every day that I get to wake up and live and it has made me very conscious of the blessings I have received in life.

That being said, the downside is that my mental health has been very poor for the past month or so but I won't let get a therapist because I feel bad because I know how many people need one much more urgently than I do right now. Also it is very possible that I would never even get in to see one.

#realizing my problems are small = good #ignoring my problems because they're not as big as others people's = probably bad #also I feel like there's some stigma around getting therapy if you don't have PTSD or other trauma related issues #and I don't have like terrorism trauma or war trauma I just have normal trauma #and I have like 'normal' mental health issues #idk #thoughts

This site was sold to developers and the synagogue is being demolished, and in its place housing is being built. This picture was taken on Fujicolor 200 35mm film using a Nikon F80 SLR and Nikkor 50mm f1.4G lens, and developed using Arista C-41 chemistry.
