Biting at his lip, Sam released her but only so one hand could slide to grip onto one of hers as he began heading for the couch. “Come on..get comfortable.” Dropping down onto the couch, he didn’t tug her with him, wanting to make it her choice to join him. “I thought we could…explore a few options.” Looking up at her, he shook his head. “I just want you to know that I mean what I say when I say there’s nothing I don’t like on you. Nothing about you that doesn’t drive me insane sometimes. I thought..” Voice faltering, he cleared his throat. “I thought tonight we could start that process by…focusing on what tonight’s main issue seemed to be.” Eyes casting downwards for just a second at her shirt, he quickly looked back up.
Following his lead she joined him on the couch, a youthful curiosity stirring her wonder of what was happening and what was going to happen next. She looked down where she noticed his eyes fall and felt a dip of confidence and a rise of self consciousness. She swallowed and reached a hand to scratch her shoulder, strategically covering over her chest. Sheepishly she looked at him again. “Okay...”
