Yallah Taco
After 2 years at university park, I FINALLY got Yallah Taco, a State College staple, today! And I have the ~reviews~. So I got beef (left), shrimp (middle), and chicken (right). The beef was by far the best of the three. It was interesting that they left the shrimp whole but it was weird because my mouth is small lol. The chicken was okay; I had like a 25 minute walk between getting my food and eating, so maybe that’s why it was a little dry? Idk. Overall, they were pretty good. There’s “Yallah” sauce on it... the sauce wasn’t super distinctive but it was good. I was really happy there was corn on ‘em!!! Next time, I wanna try the taco with fish! I was hesitant to get it this time because fish in central PA has not been kind in the times I’ve tried it, but my roommate said it was good. I would recommend, but I’d give it maybe like a 9/10 because there’s a wee bit too much hype about it. Even if you don’t get anything, you have to at least walk by it because the stand is so cute!!!
Good Recipes!

Panera: Brownies
Honestly, this brownie was a bit disappointing. I prefer when my brownies are chewy and have a bit of stickiness and resistance when I bite into it. This brownie was not that chewy ! It tasted pretty standard, nothing wrong in that department. Will not be repurchasing tho!
I made a quiche! This was my first attempt at making a quiche and it’s pretty good. I have to remember to keep it in the oven longer (45-50 min instead of 35-40 min) because the egg was still a bit runny when I cut it. I followed this recipe loosely just so I’d have a bit of guidance. But for this quiche, I used pork sausage, bacon, spinach, and shredded Monterrey jack/cheddar combo cheese. I also used a frozen pie crust cuz I don’t have the time to try to make one from scratch, as the linked recipe calls for. Yumby!
