when I’ve been majorly suicidal, I feel the need to tell people when I’m going to sleep, so they don’t worry that I’ve killed myself. so, I haven’t killed myself, and I’m abt to go to sleep. sleep well everyone ❤️
The most basic, intractable fact about mental illnesses is that you simply cannot willpower your way out of them. The only exceptions to this rule are the ones I have, which continue to disable me due to lack of determination and other grave personal flaws
I find myself just wanting to post polls randomly for shit that REALLY doesn’t need a poll (in comparison to the usual shit that doesn’t need a poll) just bc I like the interaction. tell me your opinion

I hate this website/app so much and it’s probably just because I scroll on the “for you” tab on accident 50% of the time
I’m trying to be more conscious about my social media diet. I only scroll on here and watch youtube, but even then, the more time I spend on my phone, the worse I feel. still probably gonna use this as a diary, as I always do, but based on how few posts I reblog, it would seem as if I ONLY journal on here. this is not the case, I doomscroll just as much as anyone
1: need to just work on the game instead of scroll. probably gonna set up a google doc that I can access on all devices to make notes abt it, so I can do smth like brainstorm even if I don’t want to get out of bed
2: need to work on my YT recommended feed. for fucking real. it’s so bad. been asking for recommendations from friends of video essayists they like
3: honestly, phone games might be better than scrolling social media 😭
maybe some distance from scrolling on here will make it more apparent whether or not the “vaguing” I’ve seen is actually vaguing. I told a friend in private that probably, like, 75% of it was not actually directed at me, and that I am probably paranoid from a few instances that were somewhat verifiable. I find myself paranoid with every post that I read that it’s somehow about me, and I really just need to take a step away from how people encourage and legitimize ocd-like behaviors on this site

don’t see anyone talking about this. but it sounds as though Marjane Satrapi has passed away at 56 with few more details available right now. heart is broken for her family and for the world now without her.
btw I’m sorry for my suicidal spiral last night. I wasn’t lying or anything, I did really want to die—and I’m still in SOME of that pain—but I suppose I shouldn’t be coming here to have my spirals. I’m never gonna kill myself (too cowardly) but please have sympathy for me when I wish I could
