08/11/2017 Okay so today I worked on a paper I need to finish by tomorrow at 12am. 🙄 I’m stressed out. I worked so damn hard. Yesterday I had zero words and today I have 9 pages. I still need to write another paper of just one page by tomorrow, but I’ll do it tomorrow. I’ve had enough.

I’ve always believed in signs. I’ve always thought that if something is meant to happen, it will happen no matter what you do. I believe that things, whether there are good or bad, happen for a reason.

As I said in some of my previous posts, this semester has been the most emotionally draining for me. I really did my best to make it till the end of it and it worked. It worked so well that this last few days, it seems that everything is going through the right path again. Here’s what happen in the last 72 hours :

I got my exam results which surpassed all my expectations

I got a message from a student from my neuroanatomy group where she told me she had a great result at her exam and thanked me for that

I found a big amount of money I thought I had lost - I finally had a confirmation for an internship I’ll have to do next year

I’m currently at the airport about to take a flight to Vienna with my boyfriend

What I want to tell you with this is that you shouldn’t loose hope because of a bad period. Indeed, life has a lot of different ways to show you guidance.

Always trust in yourself and I promise you’ll never be lost. If there’s one thing that this whole period taught me is that life never gets as terrible as you make it in your own head and that you should never be concerned with the negative scenarios your brain is trying to show you. Because in the end nothing is like you’ve imagined it!

I tried a new coffee place today that had been on my mind for a while and it was so, so good, I’m already looking forward to working there again. I did some reading for my essay on postmodern fiction, I bought some books, I walked in the sun. A good day : - )
