Weaving creates a culture none has seen before. The start of weaving dates back as much as 40 BC. Not to mention the absolute variety it has, from shape with square to shape with different square wit a lil thingy on it. With colors all across the spectrum, weaving is so very important, even Penelope did it for like 20 years. Personally i couldnt haha. anyway these symbols on the flat carpet actually hold meaning: for example the scorpion motif seen on some rugs represent protection from all evil, and the tree of life motif symbolizes the continuity of life, the renewal of nature, and universal connectivity. They help show what the thoughts and worries of the people of that time, which this being ancient time, mostly included being protected from evil spirits, a harmonious family life full of prosperety, and the absolute divine power of mother nature.

litteraly nothing infuriates me more than these cheaply made/cheaply built, probably made in a fast fashion factory in factory in Bangladesh, mass produced, lacking of soul bangles. Litteraly evety single jewelry store has these and you can buy them off of temu for like 5€ (a whole pack mind you) then sell them INDIVIDUALLY for 10€ -and no im not over exaggerating- then expect people to buy every single one of them. And it works too!!!!! We as a society NEED more colorful jewelry because these bangle can’t be the only non gold or silver option that the mass market has. God forbid you have small wrist because these glorified handcuffs will be tingling off your arms like a cow bell. Normally i like when jewelry makes sound when they clink off each other, like a shimmering sound reflecting my inner soul, but these don’t even make that frikin sound they sound like if you drop a tungsten cube on a iron surface. If they were handmade i honestly wouldn’t have a problem with them. Sure they are cute if combined with the right jewelry but THEY ARE SO OVERPRICED FOR WHAT THEY ARE. They give off the same energy as cierra from love island trying to replicate the vibration which it doesn’t match. this has the same aesthetic interest as matcha from starbucks, tote bag wearing men, men with gold piercings, fake flowers, and vegan honey.

what is the correlation between curating a whole mood-board/vibe/aesthetic (for example creating boards, playlists, etc) for a “cooler” version of yourself and mental illness.
