In this video I'm creating the extremes for Toy when he starts to joke about what he had said. I really wanted to push the poses and expressions with this ex0rrssive character. In this video Im creating the extremes for Toy focussing on the lip sync on "why would I do that?" Which sounded like "whywood eyedoo thad?". This month was especially challenging because of the overlapping dialogue and the transcript did not show all dialogue. More rapid posing with #ToyRig by @jorge.vigara 's #animawarriors ! Another pose to capture. Not too bad for about 20mins, as well as learning all of the controls for this character! I found the face and feet especially difficult to replicate. But that calls for more practice! #animawarriors posing exercise, familiarizing myself with the #ToyRig before jumping into the big project! Part of the #essenceof3danimation course, you must observe and replicate poses with a rig. This is a great way to both test your observation skills and understand how the Rig works. This pose took around 40mins, trying to speed pose for an extra challenge. I found posing the head and face especially difficult to match the original pose. Blocking, Breakdowns and Spline passes side by side. These aren't the only ones, there were a LOT more. Top 11 in the #11secondclub , much higher than expected! (11th to be exact which is even better!). Thank you for the feedback, it really helps! I'm frustrated how the lip sync came out though. Rigging a Dumping Ground character in Maya. Headaches are caused by ensuring the outlines of the joints are all correct. A timelapse from my very first block of The Dumping Ground from last June. Doesn't feel that long ago, but I can see how much I've learnt. At first I found these scenes much trickier than they should have been because I was learning how to animate The Dumping Ground way, as well as meeting the deadlines.
