🖤FLASHBACK🖤 I get asked all of the time, what inspired me to do burlesque... funny enough, it all started with the contests I won in 2017. - @brassmonkeytx Bettie Page Look Alike Contest - @tatumoriginals Sexy Unicorn contest -@sakrampus Krampus Costume Contest !!! Each entry to these events were last minute decisions, last minute costume creations and all because I was scared to put myself out there on display for someone to judge! I don't claim to have Confidence and as much as I want to be Body Positive ... I can be very hard on myself!!! But I did it and it inspired me to get better... The Krampus contest really put me on the spot when they asked me for a song and I went on stage with no idea what I was doing to just display my costume !!! Long story short ... that shit was crazy and really gave me the push I needed to do my first real burlesque performance mid 2018 for my shop's anniversary party!!! BIG thanks to the wonderful, artistic crew at @crookedcrowstattoo who put together @sakrampus and for allowing me to do a real performance to kick off their costume contest this year!!! 🐾 Rescue 🐾 I'm a day late for National Rescue Day and it saddens me that there are so many animals out there that need rescuing.
