my commissions are a little different than most, they’re pay-what-you-want! this means the base price, or price minimum, is very low, and you as the client can choose how much you want to pay! (i will still accept commissions at the price minimum)

i take paypal, kofi, and cashapp (USD) and I usually prefer to take payment after the art is finished!

Question: how complicated is your sketch typically before you start lining? Your lines look very confident and I find my own work is inefficient from how much time I put into a sketch.

not super complicated! i never really had the patience to block out major shapes (other than circle for the head) so i kinda just wing it based on what looks good enough… (this does lead to other issues like an inconsistency in proportions throughout my work, which is why sometimes if you comm a chibi you might accidentally get something closer to a fullbody instead LOL)

the sketches usually take like 10-15 minutes for a full body? maybe? here were both of them for the cats today

i will say i have VERY shaky hands. so to combat this i zoom in a LOT, and i use a sneaky little jitter brush to hide any shakes in my lineart. my ipad loves to fight me though and the touch screen glitches a ton and fucks up the input so it’s like twice as difficult (using an apple pencil negates this but i find i have much more control using my finger . and also my apple pencil just went through the wash and doesn’t work anymore)

but the key to confident lines for me personally has been 1. to do relatively quick strokes (not too quick though) and 2. to not gaf about perfecting it . like all my art i could theoretically improve each piece whether through posing or proportions or lineart placement or whatever but i know that i’ll get frustrated if i spend too long trying to perfect it so i just ! do what i enjoy! (1 billion undo buttons still happens sometimes tho)
