"i just needed to give you message from Crookedpaw." bubble sat in front of the tom and breathed a little before delivering the message. "Crookedpaw says hi, and that she’s doing okay out of Frostclan. Wow, can’t believe i remembered that." he said the last bit to himself but kept smiling.

"She does?" he meowed, brightening up, his whiskers twitching. "Good!! Tell her I miss her dearly!" he purred.

"that won’t be for a while seeing as mom found out i had wondered out without anyone. she put me on den duty for two weeks." he shivered at the mention of den duty, fetching moss to replace the soiled ones of the elders nests. "but i bet she knows you miss her too. she seems really nice."
