if someone is beating you with a stick and you say "stop please" and people are like "please articulate the details exactly how you want society to function without that guy beating you with a stick" you are under no obligation to answer.
while the work of envisioning society without police is worthwhile, it is not necessary that each of us have it at the tip of our tongues, it is easy enough to say "not this."
because, after all, the goal is not to, as individuals or some vanguard, have the answers, the goal is to solve these problems and build new societies as a society, collectively, we offer processes, not answers.
the answers, we'll figure them out together, for now, abolish the police, we are not safer for having an armed gang that enacts racist violence with impunity.

can you die anywhere else?
the thing about disability is it really does sometimes boil down to "wow i wish i could do that" and then you can't. and it sucks.
accomodations are important but i think they miss the point of this post. sometimes you can't do it. at all. someone needs to do it for you or it will never happen.
"and then you force yourself anyway" folks im starting to think some of you really do not understand what it means to not be able to do things.
im psychotic in the way where i will suddenly stop talking to people for no reason if they make enough text posts that feel targeted at me. because i am insane
literally the only way around this is for me to ask directly if im being sent secret messages encouraging me to die. but that enrages all but 0.0001% of living beings
im psychotic in the way where i will suddenly stop talking to people for no reason if they make enough text posts that feel targeted at me. because i am insane
i got to say hi to nyx the other night while i kept feeling like blood was oozing out from my incisions. it was just for a moment but it was nice to hear from him :3
panda mommy wouldn't get mad at me if im too fatigued to do my chores and doesn't care that i can't have sex or romantic feelings about her that are anymore than occasional and fleeting. and she would let me sleep in her bed if i have a nightmare
i wish i had a panda mommy and she take care of me and lock me up in a little kid room all day so i have to play w toys and she have big squishy paws ; w ; she won't let me drink coffe cuz im too little but she experiments w drugs on me to make me as small and baby as possible
literally there is no moral objection to be made against scat/vomit porn. like u literally cannot, there's not even a fake stupid argument there it's just obviously fine. it's literally just very gross
say the sentence "eating shit is wrong" out loud and think about how it feels to let a thought that fucking stupid into the world. i think eating lobster is nauseating but people should be allowed to do it because i am not the center of the universe.
context
Fascists always start by attacking the things you think are disgusting. No one likes sticking up for it so it’s an easy foot-in-the-door. Once you permit them the means to do that, they can move on to attacking other things with the same methods.
Shout out to mediocre black people actually. Shout out to black people who are bad at shit. You don’t need to be the best for your life to matter.
One of the cornerstones of my political values is liberation and acceptance of identity. Where "identity" is defined as a personally significant set of concepts or experiences.
Identity does not need to be evaluated or confirmed by others before becoming real. Identity is what frees you from being defined externally and limited to what's considered most reasonable, sane, or desirable by someone else.
There is no contradiction between observing identity and observing social classes, because class and identity, while not being synonymous, exist in a complicated mutual connection, and you need to be aware of both. Erasing either in favor of the other will make you erroneously attack members of your community.
In application to gender politics, observing identity means understanding that anyone can have any kind of an internal relationship with gender, without any being more true, more real, or more important than others. Observing class means understanding that trans people hold a marginalized position that's not neatly split along identity lines. You need to do both. You can't make up artificial material distinctions between trans people a la "if you're 1% girl you're affected by misogyny, if you're 0% girl, you aren't" in an attempt to reverse engineer class from identity. Neither you can reverse engineer identity from class and claim an experience with misogyny means a link to womanhood.
I see more and more bloggers in the trans community try to erase identity in favor of class, which is regressive and results in what's basically mass misgendering. Gender is not material. Gender is a feeling. And that doesn't take away from material impact of transition. Y'all need to stop discarding a half of the trans experience.
so good to see you
so glad its over
came out to watch you play
why are you running away

I think there's no way to do "gender is a material social class, not a feeling/identity" and not have it logically followed by "lots of primarily trans/genderqueer people are wrong about what gender they are".
Even if you try to de emphasize it in your theory and explicitly reject the identity policing side of discourse.
You are still producing statements with rigid correlations between genders and material circumstances.
