As Tumblr’s updated terms come into effect I find myself very skeptical and quite annoyed at the nature of what the site has become. Plenty of my friends, mutuals, and fellow artists have been wrongfully deleted, shadowbanned or flagged by the algorithms, and others have already deactivated or chose to migrate elsewhere.

I’ve been on this site long enough for this issue to not be much of a surprise, however I am very upset at the treatment of creators, the censorship, and the incompetancy of staff’s management. At this point I don’t believe Tumblr is stable enough to act as anyone’s main means of building an online presence, nor is it worth the try due to the fact that a huge majority of users, especially the older demographic, have either left completely or decided to be active elsewhere. With that said, while I won’t delete this blog, I won’t be posting much anymore. A few Dio/The World related posts may come up but will probably just be reblogs from my main. As for asks and interactions, I will probably stop doing those as well.

I know I wasn’t completely active for a while now but at a point I came to realize that the daily/bd community was no longer for me. I will forever be grateful as it introduced me to some of my closest friends who I still keep in touch with to this day. Above all, I am incredibly grateful for all 2000+ of you. I apologize that I couldn’t have given the content you followed for more frequently. Thanks for sticking around nonetheless.

I know what this sounds like But! So long as I‘m not nuked I’m not completely abandoning Tumblr just yet. Just going to be more active on Twitter (@joestahs). I‘m starting to post more wips and sketches along side my art and yes ofc I still draw Dio and Worldy. Gotta keep my Brand u kno wat im sayin ;) So I recommend following me there! I’ll have a separate post of all my links up on my blog and update my description.
