I enjoy playing the new edition of Dungeon with my son. It’s a nice throwback to when I owned the game as a kid and a fun D&D type experience he can play. I do feel that the new edition was a missed opportunity though in terms of updating the graphic design and game balance.

Lorna and I finished our game of Pandemic Legacy Season 1 tonight, after just over a couple of months of play. I have to say it feels funny to be putting the lid on a board game for the last time. One of board games great strengths, to me, has been their replay-ability, unlike, say, video games or a DVD boxed set, which you might pay an equivalent price for. Having said that, we both really enjoyed the experience, and will probably purchase Season 2. I think we missed out on some of the variety that the game had to offer by only being 2 players, so we may play with more next time. 😄😷💉
