Progress it is
So... I’ve made quite cool product :). It will be available to download FOR FREE :D when I’ll find someplace to store it :).
it's simple but surprisingly addictive little piece of Bad Sad Code. And in case if You guys still don’t have a clue what I’m talking about...
Game of Life(sucks... sometimes) it’s another Game of Life version. Game and not a game at the same time. Your role as a player is limited to either generating world with random placed live cells or placing them by hand and then starting simulation. By a press of a button Your virtual world comes to live... Oh yes... the circle of life :)
Each cell has two states, it can be alive or it can be dead. State of cell depends on number of living nieghbours it have. Basic or maybe most popular rules of surival in GoL games are Conway’s rules. As long as living cell has exactly 2 or 3 living neighbours it stays alive. If neighbours count for that cell is less than 2 (1 or 0) or it’s greater than 3 (4-8) cell dies (crule world). But dead cell can rise from the dead! It happens when exactly three necromancers gather near a dead cell. Simple :)
So, stay tuned for info about download links :)
refactoring
I’ve decided to make some refactoring of my Game of Life. It was VERY hard task so... I’ve deleted old project and started new one :D
Now code is clean and easy to maintain. I wrote procedures, functions etc. Interface was designed from scratch and it’s in english now ;). But still there is one thing that concerns me. Performance.
game of life (sucks... sometimes)
IT WORKS FINALLY!
i do.... i don’t get it
This tumblr thingy is so chaotic to me. *click* *click* puff ... I don’t know where I am. Anyways...
This is just like my version of Game of Life. For now I have some difficulties with implenenting Conway’s rules. It works, but... not exactly as I want. Propably wrong/mixed order for reading cells.
omg.omg how do i post stuff?
Is it here? I guess.
