Bad surveys

Why do we do this? 50% of emails are read on mobile screens, social networks get more traffic from mobile than web. How does your survey look on a small screen? Time to stop all the bad survey nonsense. There’s a better way »

We love Moo, their site is simple to use, service is good value and customer support is excellent. But this survey does them disservice…

When we saw this monstrosity then we simply had to go and take a look in a web browser as well. Yup, still scary as hell (10x10 grid).

Rapha can't decide if they want everything to be really big or really small. That long list of cycling magazines and sites? We honestly tried to tick the right ones but with normal sized thumbs it was pretty much impossible.

We expected better from Stanford University. Especially given that the survey is about Human Computer Interfaces.

Nope, no cigar. Pixelpin embeds Surveymonkey-powered survey into their otherwise mobile-friendly website. Inconvenient to fill out, impossible to scroll to complete it.

If there’s "mobile" in your name then would be cool if your survey worked on a mobile as well. Or maybe it doesn’t matter because in 10 minutes you said the survey will take we got only 61% through…

Don’t be fooled by the fact that you can read it on a computer screen. On a mobile it’s absolutely tiny.

Wikimedia, reshuffling answer options every time respondent picks a value is bad idea. Took us 10 seconds to wrap our head around that one…
