Time is a circle, a roving train that never quite reaches its destination. It’s burdensome but endurable. It reiterates itself but somehow manages to stay different every time and in the end Baekhyun comes to the conclusion that time, is very much what he is, what he’s made of.

Time is his protector, his shroud—it spins around his body and guides him through cold and snowy nights and Baekhyun sometimes finds himself nonchalantly wandering between its lingering tic toks, heart sealing in the jar of stillness for the time being and mind only following the direction of his urge to evoke affliction, to cause torture.

Baekhyun likes to think that the person he was in the past has vanished into thin air and completely disappeared. He likes to think that tears don’t gather in the corner of his eyes when he’s standing in the side-line, a beautiful view of the bullet shooting itself in the direction of the man who probably didn’t do anything to deserve such brutal punishment in his in his sight. He likes to think the loud cries of the mothers do not affect him as much as they should, likes to think that he doesn’t care, that he never will. He knows however, that he does, that sometimes, just sometimes, the Baekhyun from the past crawls into his body and entirely takes over. That still, whenever it can, the Baekhyun from the past blooms inside of him and seeks for attention, seeks for recognition.
