It's with a heavy but hopeful heart that I watch Palestinian families fundraiser on here, slowly accumulating the precious little money to go around that they need to survive. However, not everyone is so lucky. A lot of Palestinians that have not had that kind of luck, that did not get early verification, that did not get massive platforms behind them from large bloggers, have approached me in my inbox, asking me kindly to do what I can for them. It kills me that I have so little to give myself, but I've seen this platform collectively raise enough to change someone's life. I've made a list of Palestinian fundraisers that are extremely low on funds, in the hope that drawing attention to people who have not been lucky at all can help turn that luck around. I know most of us can't possibly give enough to get all of these families safe in one go. But please, reblog this list. Pick one or two fundraisers, give what you can, and then keep track of it. Slowly, collectively, we can make a difference in these people's lives. realistically, baela and rhaena should hate daemon and rhaenyra's guts. rhaenys - who raised baela - believed laenor was murdered by daemyra on laena's funeral so they could marry. and then they married, on the day of laena's funeral.

in the book daemyra remarried 6 months after laena's death & they grew up with rhaenyra and her sons & laena and rhaenyra were very close & daemyra had nothing to do with laenor's death. i'd imagine watching your dad remarry your mom's best friend is also complicated, but in show canon there is absolutely no way in HELL baela and rhaena do not despise daemon and rhaenyra. but the show doesn't care about the twins or laena as characters, and only uses them as tools - mostly to hype up rhaenyra. they are not human beings with actual feelings or personal goals. baela is offered driftmark - the sit rhaenyrs (the woman who raised her) WANTED her to have - but she doesn't want it because "sHe Is FiRe" & is mostly used to comfort jace when he's angry or to be rhaenyra's fan-girl. she is not a character. she is a plot-device.

we get a scene of rhaenyra making rhaena her sons' glorified nanny and complaining how hard it is for HER because she will be separated from her precious sons and the narrative clearly paints rhaenyra as the victim in this situation and the 16yo rhaena as a spoiled teen. we then get the danny's egg reference and the "you'll bare our hopes for the future" bs line to manipulate the audience. rhaena's mission is acshually important because those are danny's eggs (they are not.) but of course these are SYRAX eggs, so really - it's all about rhaenyra. rhaenyra is not being insensitive. no no no. she's giving rhaena a SUPER important mission that is not at all being a nanny to her clearly much more important sons. nooo she will guard danny's eggs!! which will be super important in 200 years!! THAT'S the mission rhaenyra gave rhaena!

and then, rhaena gets nettles storyline because they CLEARLY have sooooo much in common right??? and there is a lot more to be said about how the show already establishing rhaena (aka nettles) as the "villain" & rhaenyra as the perfect hero.

the treatment of laena, baela and rhaena is disgusting and disgraceful.
