Knowing it’s real means you gotta make a decision… One, keep denying it. Or two; do something about it.

I want to be a character actor, I think. It’s probably because I’ve just watched five of his movies in a row, but for a lot of my life, I’ve wanted to work with Wes Anderson. All of his characters are really eccentric and interesting. I want to move into playing people so far from me that it’s difficult to find myself in that person. Because, with a character like Sansa, the lines have been blurring for years and I find myself in a bit of an identity crisis as to who I am - whether I’m Sansa or Sophie. I think it would be really fun and challenging for me to do something so beyond who I am. I’m just trying to push myself at the moment and find different characters that are so far-fetched that it would really become a project to become that person.

My main focus right now is film, but music is one of the most important things in my life and will always be a focal point. I’m constantly writing and exploring, and figuring out what I want to do next. So as far as album two, I think I might start working on it really soon. It’s just all about timing and figuring out what makes the most sense. My dream is to make films and to make albums, so if I’m lucky enough to do that I’ll be happy.
“When people ask me, “Who is Sansa?” I can’t really tell them because she’s come so far from where she was and had such an insane storyline. It’s amazing. And I’m so excited to see where it goes as well because you know in a couple of years she’s going to be a whole different person from where she is now.” — Sophie Turner for Just Jared Spotlight
I would advise young women to be true to their hearts and chase their dreams. Be bold. Be daring. Sometimes women have a tendency to be apologetic or overly modest when they’re good at something, and I’m not just talking about in the entertainment industry. I’m talking about in all industries. I genuinely believe you have to scare yourself a little bit and take yourself out of your comfort zone to grow
I was acting since I was a kid, going to drama classes and being involved in every school play and musical that I could get my hands on, so it was something that was a part of me from a very early age. It has always felt like a very organic process and an ongoing journey; that’s what I’ve loved about it, the journey. That’s the joy of it, not knowing certain things and discovering them along the way. I imagine that happens until the day you die.

“I’m a big lover of Shakespeare. In fact the only plays that I’ve ever done professionally in New York have been Shakespearian. This might sound cliché, but I want to play Juliet. I think I would do a great job playing Juliet.“
