Yoru was a prince, that word felt like a stab to the heart….was…he no longer held that title and it made his heart break in two. His family had been dethroned and he was banished, he had fought back and something went entirely wrong, he couldn't figure out where he was, it was a strange place full of giants, not the giants he was used to but giants with weird clothing and the buildings looked odd and the smells everywhere reeked of chemicals. He could hardly fly he was weak his wings struggled to lift him, and he had no clothes as they disintegrated in the journey between realms. His body had scrapes and bruises from the rough landing and he was worried he'd starve or freeze to death but luckily he would either be killed by a giant footstep or an animal ripping him limb from limb and his pain would end soon. Delirious from hunger he finally managed to fly and quickly headed in the direction that gave off the best smells he had smelled the entire time he was in this realm, it was warm and meaty and made his mouth water but he couldn't find the source and this enraged him. He sighed heavily and found a place to sit on the windowsill of a random building, he felt warmth from the window and it was enough to keep him from freezing to death, he eventually leaned against the side and closed his eyes "May death be kinder than this realm could ever be.." he mumbled to himself.

"Steal all the..." he rolled his eyes then shook his head before moving to sit on his knees on the floor so he could reach up onto the table, he was still a bit short so he put a couple pillows stacked on top of each other on the floor, he then sat on his knees on them befoer taking in everything that was out on the table. "We are going to share everything...plus you will likely eat more than me since I am like a quarter of your size" he let Youngsoo cut up the food for him since it was difficult for him to use the knife and fork together with his small hands, he then held the fork carefully and slowly ate. He smiled big as he felt happier and happier with each bite "I have never had food this amazing before. This is wonderful!" He takes a big bite of sausage then does an excited little shimmy before making grabby hands toward Youngsoo's coffee, with a little help he takes a couple sips of the coffee, it was nice that with just a little help he could do normal things with his boyfriend.

He chuckled low under his breath, setting down his own fork for a moment just to lean closer. “You’re ridiculous,” he murmured, though the grin tugging at his lips made it clear he meant it in the most affectionate way possible. He reached over to steady the cup as Yoru sipped, careful not to let the steam burn his little fae’s hands. “Look at you… conquering coffee like a champ,” he teased, ruffling Yoru’s hair. I am literally uninterested in it" he liked the bacon but it was nothing special to him, he took the bacon from his own plate and gave it to Youngsoo then reached over taking his sausages as trade "there, happy?" he laughs then returns to eating. He ate his food with a smile, once done eating he moves to sit on Youngsoo's lap and just watched him continue eating, he was sleepy after all the food. He hummed softly and just relaxed watching him with a loving gaze. He eventually curled up on his lap and closed his eyes, after a while he dozed off. He didn't sleep for long, when Youngsoo was done eating and moved he woke up. He glanced up and yawned big "Done with breakfast?"

Youngsoo glanced down at the tiny yawn and couldn’t help but chuckle, brushing his thumb gently over Yoru’s cheek. “Yeah, all done,” he said softly, setting the empty plates aside before letting his hand rest lightly against Yoru’s back. “You really just traded me bacon for sausage like it was some kind of grand deal,” he teased, his lips quirking into a grin. “You might be the first person I’ve met who doesn’t worship bacon. I should’ve known you’d be different in every way.” He leaned back against the couch, keeping Yoru cradled in his lap, and tilted his head as he looked at him. “You know,” he added in a quieter tone, “watching you eat like that—so excited, so happy over something this simple, it makes me realize how much I want to keep giving you things to smile about. Not just food. Everything.” He bent down and kissed Yoru’s forehead gently. “So… yeah, breakfast is done. But my day’s already perfect.”

You deserve way more than stale bread and nuts.” He nudged Yoru gently so he could look at him properly. “All of that, dates, holding hands, getting all dressed up—that sounds perfect. I want that too. We’ll do the whole thing: stupid touristy spots, overpriced dessert, people-watching until we laugh so hard our ribs hurt. And yes, when we go out, I will absolutely insist you wear something that makes you look like the tiny, impossible catch you are.” He grinned. “I’ll be the loud, handsome human escort. You’ll be the one stealing hearts.” Then his expression softened, eyes serious. “About your magic, don’t worry. You’re already proving you’re learning. You did this much on your own; that says everything. We’ll work on it together. I’ll help you practice safely, look up resources, find people who know about fae magic, or, if needed, someone who can help with stabilizing spells or enchanted glasses. You don’t have to figure it out alone.” He tapped the side of Yoru’s nose with one thumb. “And temporary is good. Even a few hours at a time means real dates, real life. We’ll plan little adventures you can actually enjoy: a picnic in a park with window boxes we planted ourselves, a lazy museum day where you judge modern art, a stupid tourist trap where we take way too many photos, and then coming home to soup that I’m somehow going to mess up but you’ll pretend tastes amazing.” Youngsoo laughed softly and brushed a kiss to Yoru’s temple. “We’ll get you proper clothes that actually fit, no more sock-tunics, and doll glasses that you can enchant. We’ll build your garden, bring flowers to my mom, and show the world you belong here. If that means practicing your size-change every day until it’s muscle memory, then that’s what we’ll do.” He pulled Yoru closer, voice dropping into that comfortable, intimate rumble. “You want to make up for lost time? Fine. We’ll cram a lifetime of stupid, beautiful moments into as many days as we can get. And when things get scary, when the magic falters or you feel small again, you come to me. Yoru was a prince, that word felt like a stab to the heart….was…he no longer held that title and it made his heart break in two. His family had been dethroned and he was banished, he had fought back and something went entirely wrong, he couldn't figure out where he was, it was a strange place full of giants, not the giants he was used to but giants with weird clothing and the buildings looked odd and the smells everywhere reeked of chemicals. He could hardly fly he was weak his wings struggled to lift him, and he had no clothes as they disintegrated in the journey between realms. His body had scrapes and bruises from the rough landing and he was worried he'd starve or freeze to death but luckily he would either be killed by a giant footstep or an animal ripping him limb from limb and his pain would end soon. Delirious from hunger he finally managed to fly and quickly headed in the direction that gave off the best smells he had smelled the entire time he was in this realm, it was warm and meaty and made his mouth water but he couldn't find the source and this enraged him. He sighed heavily and found a place to sit on the windowsill of a random building, he felt warmth from the window and it was enough to keep him from freezing to death, he eventually leaned against the side and closed his eyes "May death be kinder than this realm could ever be.." he mumbled to himself.

"Steal all the..." he rolled his eyes then shook his head before moving to sit on his knees on the floor so he could reach up onto the table, he was still a bit short so he put a couple pillows stacked on top of each other on the floor, he then sat on his knees on them befoer taking in everything that was out on the table. "We are going to share everything...plus you will likely eat more than me since I am like a quarter of your size" he let Youngsoo cut up the food for him since it was difficult for him to use the knife and fork together with his small hands, he then held the fork carefully and slowly ate. He smiled big as he felt happier and happier with each bite "I have never had food this amazing before. This is wonderful!" He takes a big bite of sausage then does an excited little shimmy before making grabby hands toward Youngsoo's coffee, with a little help he takes a couple sips of the coffee, it was nice that with just a little help he could do normal things with his boyfriend.

Youngsoo watched him with that soft, melting look he always seemed to get when Yoru did literally anything, stacking pillows, shimmying with joy, even making grabby hands at his coffee like an impatient child. He chuckled low under his breath, setting down his own fork for a moment just to lean closer. “You’re ridiculous,” he murmured, though the grin tugging at his lips made it clear he meant it in the most affectionate way possible. He reached over to steady the cup as Yoru sipped, careful not to let the steam burn his little fae’s hands. “Look at you… conquering coffee like a champ,” he teased, ruffling Yoru’s hair. Seeing how happy he looked with each bite, Youngsoo felt a quiet warmth bloom in his chest. He hadn’t realized how much he’d missed this, sharing something as simple as breakfast with someone who actually mattered. He picked up his fork again and slid another piece of pancake onto Yoru’s plate. “If I’d known this was all it took to make you this happy, I would’ve ordered way more food,” he said softly, watching Yoru’s smile like it was the only thing in the room worth noticing. Then, with a playful smirk, he leaned down close enough that his breath brushed Yoru’s ear. “Just don’t think those grabby hands of yours are gonna work on my bacon. Coffee? Fine. Bacon? Off-limits.”

"oh my god, I do not care about your bacon. I am literally uninterested in it" he liked the bacon but it was nothing special to him, he took the bacon from his own plate and gave it to Youngsoo then reached over taking his sausages as trade "there, happy?" he laughs then returns to eating. He ate his food with a smile, once done eating he moves to sit on Youngsoo's lap and just watched him continue eating, he was sleepy after all the food. He hummed softly and just relaxed watching him with a loving gaze. He eventually curled up on his lap and closed his eyes, after a while he dozed off. He didn't sleep for long, when Youngsoo was done eating and moved he woke up. He glanced up and yawned big "Done with breakfast?"

Youngsoo glanced down at the tiny yawn and couldn’t help but chuckle, brushing his thumb gently over Yoru’s cheek. “Yeah, all done,” he said softly, setting the empty plates aside before letting his hand rest lightly against Yoru’s back. “You really just traded me bacon for sausage like it was some kind of grand deal,” he teased, his lips quirking into a grin. “You might be the first person I’ve met who doesn’t worship bacon. I should’ve known you’d be different in every way.” He leaned back against the couch, keeping Yoru cradled in his lap, and tilted his head as he looked at him. “You know,” he added in a quieter tone, “watching you eat like that—so excited, so happy over something this simple, it makes me realize how much I want to keep giving you things to smile about. Not just food. Everything.” He bent down and kissed Yoru’s forehead gently. “So… yeah, breakfast is done. But my day’s already perfect.”

After they made love and fell asleep together the whole thing finally caught up to Yoru and he was unable to retain his larger form. While resting on top of him he slowly began to shrink until back to his 12 inch size, this was the only larger size he was able to retain permanently. Once smaller he curled up like Youngsoo was a comfortable bed beneath him, he was warn out and tired but satisfied and happy, they had officially become a couple and taken a step in their relationship he had not expected so soon but he didn't regret the choice one bit. He woke up a bit later and sat up rubbing his eyes, he looked around and realized his size had changed "Ah damn it....well...I guess I used up all my energy and that did something..." he spoke softly to himself then glanced at Youngsoo, he smiled watching him sleep for a moment before crawling over and kissing him on the lips "I can't believe you are all mine..." he lies back down and curls up so he's snuggled up against his neck.

Then, softer, more sincere: “But you’re still all mine too.” He didn’t ask if Yoru was okay; he could feel it in the way Yoru curled into him, content and safe. Instead, he just tilted his head and gently kissed the top of Yoru’s hair. “I don’t care what size you are… You’re everything to me. And I’ll be here, big hands and all.” His lips curved into a small smile, and with Yoru snug against him, he let his eyes drift closed again. “We’ve got all the time in the world, little prince,” he murmured. “We’ll figure out the rest together.” And just like that, he drifted back into sleep, wrapped around the one thing that made everything feel like home.

"I am still bigger than my original 6 and a half inches...so...it's a start," he smiled and enjoyed the cuddling. He let himself doze off again. He slept for a good while, but when the morning light peeked into the room, he stirred and tiredly got up. He slipped on the clothes he had made/shrunk, and then he went to figure out what to have for breakfast. He couldn't cook, but with a little bit of trial and error, he was able to order something on Youngsoo's phone, then he used the one-cup coffee maker and made Youngsoo a cup of coffee. He used a little magic, and in a travel mug, he brought the cup to him; the travel mug made him worry less about spilling it. He sets the cup on the coffee table, then sits on his knees on the man's chest. "Youngsooooo, wake up! I did a couple of things you will be proud of."

Youngsoo groaned softly as the sunlight reached his face, turning his head into the pillow with a half-grumble before he felt the light pressure on his chest, and then heard that unmistakable voice. He cracked one eye open to see Yoru perched on his chest like some smug little prince. The sight alone made him smile, still slow and lazy from sleep but undeniably fond. “Mmh… I don’t even need to be awake to know I’m proud of you,” he mumbled, voice rough with morning rasp. He blinked a few times and then sat up just enough to reach for the travel mug on the coffee table, eyebrows raised in amusement. “Wait, you made coffee?” He gave Yoru a playful look, blowing softly on the lid before taking a sip, and then made an exaggerated gasp. “It’s not poisoned! And it’s actually good?” He laughed, leaning back again and nudging Yoru gently with the side of his finger. “Look at you. Waking up before me, ordering food, brewing coffee like some kind of responsible boyfriend. I should stay in bed more often if this is what I get.” His gaze softened as he looked down at Yoru again. “You’re really trying, huh?” His tone dropped just a little; he was less teasing now and more sincere. “Even the little things like this… they mean a lot.” He shifted, wrapping his hand gently around Yoru and lifting him up so they were face to face. “I love you, you know that?” He kissed Yoru’s tiny forehead. “Six inches, twelve inches, two feet, whatever form you’re in. You’re everything.” He gave a sleepy smile. “Now tell me what you ordered for breakfast before I starve to death in your arms.”

"I got an american style breakfast, pancakes, sausage, hashbrowns, bacon and syrup. I got enough for us to share" he hugs his head since at his 12inch size it was easier to hug him that way. He smiled moving down to kiss him on the lips, a little awkward when smaller but not too terrible. "I am happy to do stuff for you, even if it takes a little extra effort or extra time" he smiles then has him tilt the cup so the small fae can take a sip, he smacks his lips as he takes in the taste. "Not terrible but I still prefer tea, but caffeine is good" he nods then takes one more sip before lying down on his boyfriends chest. "It should be here in a half hour or so"

"I am not!" he glances down at himself, "I....can't argue..." he pouts a little and then laughs at what Youngsoo said. "If you can afford it, just buy breakfast. Why bother cooking when your realm has ways to order food made by someone else? It's like when I was back home and had chefs who cooked for me, but with way more food options," he laughs softly, then sits up quickly when he hears the door. "Go go go, go get the food!" He moves off of Youngsoo as he gets up and goes to answer the door. He waits excitedly for the food. As he returns with the containers of food, the smell fills the room and Yoru can't help but smile, his stomach growling at the thought of eating. "Oh my god, it smells amazing!"

You did good, baby,” he said with a proud glance at Yoru before leaning down to press a soft kiss to his forehead. Yoru was a prince, that word felt like a stab to the heart….was…he no longer held that title and it made his heart break in two. His family had been dethroned and he was banished, he had fought back and something went entirely wrong, he couldn't figure out where he was, it was a strange place full of giants, not the giants he was used to but giants with weird clothing and the buildings looked odd and the smells everywhere reeked of chemicals. He could hardly fly he was weak his wings struggled to lift him, and he had no clothes as they disintegrated in the journey between realms. His body had scrapes and bruises from the rough landing and he was worried he'd starve or freeze to death but luckily he would either be killed by a giant footstep or an animal ripping him limb from limb and his pain would end soon. Delirious from hunger he finally managed to fly and quickly headed in the direction that gave off the best smells he had smelled the entire time he was in this realm, it was warm and meaty and made his mouth water but he couldn't find the source and this enraged him. He sighed heavily and found a place to sit on the windowsill of a random building, he felt warmth from the window and it was enough to keep him from freezing to death, he eventually leaned against the side and closed his eyes "May death be kinder than this realm could ever be.." he mumbled to himself.

After they made love and fell asleep together the whole thing finally caught up to Yoru and he was unable to retain his larger form. While resting on top of him he slowly began to shrink until back to his 12 inch size, this was the only larger size he was able to retain permanently. Once smaller he curled up like Youngsoo was a comfortable bed beneath him, he was warn out and tired but satisfied and happy, they had officially become a couple and taken a step in their relationship he had not expected so soon but he didn't regret the choice one bit. He woke up a bit later and sat up rubbing his eyes, he looked around and realized his size had changed "Ah damn it....well...I guess I used up all my energy and that did something..." he spoke softly to himself then glanced at Youngsoo, he smiled watching him sleep for a moment before crawling over and kissing him on the lips "I can't believe you are all mine..." he lies back down and curls up so he's snuggled up against his neck.

Youngsoo stirred slightly at the soft kiss, a drowsy hum slipping from his lips as his eyes fluttered open. It took a moment for his brain to register that the warmth curled against his neck was no longer full-sized, and when it did, his arms instinctively tightened protectively around Yoru's tiny frame, cradling him close like something irreplaceable. He glanced down, still sleep-heavy but alert enough to notice the change. His hand gently came to rest against Yoru’s back, thumb brushing over him with the same tenderness he always reserved for him, no matter the size. “You’re back to fun-sized, huh?” he murmured, voice rough with sleep but laced with affection. Then, softer, more sincere: “But you’re still all mine too.” He didn’t ask if Yoru was okay; he could feel it in the way Yoru curled into him, content and safe. Instead, he just tilted his head and gently kissed the top of Yoru’s hair. “I don’t care what size you are… You’re everything to me. And I’ll be here, big hands and all.” His lips curved into a small smile, and with Yoru snug against him, he let his eyes drift closed again. “We’ve got all the time in the world, little prince,” he murmured. “We’ll figure out the rest together.” And just like that, he drifted back into sleep, wrapped around the one thing that made everything feel like home.

"I am still bigger than my original 6 and a half inches...so...it's a start," he smiled and enjoyed the cuddling. He let himself doze off again. He slept for a good while, but when the morning light peeked into the room, he stirred and tiredly got up. He slipped on the clothes he had made/shrunk, and then he went to figure out what to have for breakfast. He couldn't cook, but with a little bit of trial and error, he was able to order something on Youngsoo's phone, then he used the one-cup coffee maker and made Youngsoo a cup of coffee. He used a little magic, and in a travel mug, he brought the cup to him; the travel mug made him worry less about spilling it. He sets the cup on the coffee table, then sits on his knees on the man's chest. "Youngsooooo, wake up! I did a couple of things you will be proud of."

Youngsoo groaned softly as the sunlight reached his face, turning his head into the pillow with a half-grumble before he felt the light pressure on his chest, and then heard that unmistakable voice. He cracked one eye open to see Yoru perched on his chest like some smug little prince. The sight alone made him smile, still slow and lazy from sleep but undeniably fond. “Mmh… I don’t even need to be awake to know I’m proud of you,” he mumbled, voice rough with morning rasp. He blinked a few times and then sat up just enough to reach for the travel mug on the coffee table, eyebrows raised in amusement. “Wait, you made coffee?” He gave Yoru a playful look, blowing softly on the lid before taking a sip, and then made an exaggerated gasp. “It’s not poisoned! And it’s actually good?” He laughed, leaning back again and nudging Yoru gently with the side of his finger. “Look at you. Waking up before me, ordering food, brewing coffee like some kind of responsible boyfriend. I should stay in bed more often if this is what I get.” His gaze softened as he looked down at Yoru again. “You’re really trying, huh?” His tone dropped just a little; he was less teasing now and more sincere. “Even the little things like this… they mean a lot.” He shifted, wrapping his hand gently around Yoru and lifting him up so they were face to face. “I love you, you know that?” He kissed Yoru’s tiny forehead. “Six inches, twelve inches, two feet, whatever form you’re in. You’re everything.” He gave a sleepy smile. “Now tell me what you ordered for breakfast before I starve to death in your arms.”

I proposed to No-Eul tonight, but there were no scripts, no masks, just me. And she said yes. We’ve already built something I never thought I’d have: A home, A family.

Woo-ju’s still too little to understand what’s going on, but he laughed the whole time. I’ll take that as his blessing. And Yu-jin… she tried to act unimpressed, but the moment No-Eul said yes, she whispered, “About time, Dad.” I nearly lost it right then.

She’s not mine by blood, but she’s mine in every way that matters. I’ll protect her and Woo-ju with everything I’ve got. And No-Eul... I’ll spend every day trying to be the man you and they deserve.

Life has taken some wild turns. But tonight? It finally felt like I made it home.
