[ENG] We were on Isabela Island and suddenly we saw this cutie swimming, We took our cameras out and started to take pictures. Suddenly the sea lion came out of the sea and started posing for the photos. Our guide told us to get In the boat because instead of posing for the photos the sea lion was marking his territory and that it could bite us. 😂 [ESP] Estábamos en el muelle esperando nuestra lancha para ir al bote cuando vimos a este hermoso animal nadar. De repente salió del agua y empezó a posar para las fotos. Nuestro guía nos dijo de subir rápido al bote ya que no posaba para las fotos sino que estaba marcando su territorio y nos podia morder 😂 (at Isla Isabela, Galapagos, Ecuador)

[ENG] When I arrived to this beach near Puerto Villamil in Isabela island I thought to myself that it is the perfect place to relax after a long day. I would really love living near a beach :) and go there every day to run o just relax hearing the sound of the sea. What is your perfect place to live? [ENG] This place is called “Los Gemelos” or in English the twins. This is because across the street you have just an other one very similar to this one in this photo. [ENG] Iguanas 🦎 are an icon of the Galápagos Islands. There are land iguanas as well as marine iguanas. Their colors will vary according to the island where they live and if their are land or marine iguanas. [ESP] Las iguanas son un ícono de las Islas Galápagos. [ENG] Ir you are staying is Santa Cruz Island then you cannot miss a visit to the “Rancho Primicias” where you can watch the Giant Turtles 🐢 in their natural state. [ENG] One of the things I love the most of Tortuga bay is that when walking through the wet sand you can se the reflection of the sky like a mirror effect. [ENG] These trees are typical and original from the Galápagos Islands. They are called Escalecias, and you can find them in the highlands of Santa Cruz’s Island. [ENG] Getting to Tortuga Bay from Santa Cruz Island is really easy. You either pay 10USD for a small boat ride or the second option is to walk 2.8km. The walk is pretty nice and absolutely worth it!! Then you get this amazing view! [ESP] Para llegar a la playa de Tortuga Bay hay dos opciones: La primera es pagar 10USD por una lancha y la segunda es una caminata de unos 2.8km desde el pueblo de Santa Cruz. [ENG] In almost every beach in Galapagos you are able to find marine iguanas. They have a dark colored tones skin and watching them swim is really cool. Our guide told us that they can swim really long distances without taking a breath. [ESP] En casi toda playa de Galapagos se pueden encontrar iguanas marinas. Tienen un color oscuro y verlas nadar es increíble. Nuestro guía nos contó que pueden nadar grandes distancias sin tener que tomar aire. (at Playa Tortuga Bay)

[ENG] Did you know that Galapagos Penguins are the second smallest on the world? Swimming with them was a great experience and I was surprised of how fast they can swim. Would you swim with them? [ENG] One of the things that I love about Galapagos Islands is its wildlife. Sea lions are my favorite animal and love to see them enjoying the sun. [ENG] Only in Galapagos you can get this close with wild animals. It is important not to touch them since they can be dropped out from their herd and have more probabilities to die. [ESP] Solo en Galapagos puedes ver así a animales salvajes. Es importante no tocarlos ya que por nuestro olor ellos pueden ser sacados de su manada incrementando sus chances de morir.
