Eucalyptus smudge sticks? This shoot was particularly fragrant. And with the fresh sage and rose petals from my garden... I was in heaven. I wanted to inspire some cottage core vibes with these images. I provided the client with clean white backdrop images as well.

This one I tried my hand at some makeup-artistry - including adding faux freckles! I was inspired by all the Euphoria hype early this year, and Tori Belle has these magnetic bling that HAVE SO MUCH POTENTIAL. I kinda want to cover someone’s face in these. Now I have to see if I can get that vision approved for creation!

BRAVE a supplement line by Tori Belle Cosmetics. I had a lot of fun making the “charcoal” background on the pro-collagen. It’s really flour. And, it’s a few pictures stitched together. These supplement tubs are so big it took up most of the space in the flour’s pan - so I got creative.

I had so much fun photographing these beautiful eggs! The gorgeous gradients were fun to play with. The order and flow intend to draw the eye in, and please our pattern loving brains. These vibrant vitamin filled yolks had to be recognized as well. The flour well make visions of kneading saffron pasta dough! For the cracked egg, I wanted to play with the contrast in the light blue next to the brilliance of the yolk.

Ever done a photoshoot with a latex unicorn head? They were all the rage.

Vegas hit different. There was a sense of freedom with out judgement that I am not sure I have experienced anywhere else. One always has the ability to not pay attention to judgement. But in Vegas, it seemed like everyone was on the same wave length. And judgement for self expression was simply not a thing.

Cross-fit lifting matches are something else. The music is deafening, the viewing area cramped with swarms of knee height children weaving in the crowds. The competitors work together to change the rack set ups and set each other weights. Everyone screamed and tried to lend their energy to failing lifts. It was a stark contrast to the orderliness and ambling pace I have seen at powerlifting events.

My girl did awesome. Beautifully practiced techniques. Fantastic control. And beat the shit out of her competition. And she found some epic lighting to help me document this competition in black and white deliciousness. All together a cool experience.

🐶 Meet Floki!

The wind was blowing, the treats were flowing, and we played and shot for about 15 minutes.

That's all it takes!

I find dogs are a lot like toddlers. You make weird sounds 👂and they look at you. You tempt them with 🍪 cookies. And you keep the shoot short.

But just like with young kids, dogs are so active and expressive that it's really all the time you need to get a lot of great shots.

I can't wait to get behind the camera more!
