Quitting Instagram for 2024 and re(pro)gressing back to my Tumblr era

So here I am, writing to pretty much the one follower I have and mainly to myself. A beautiful and rare thing with the internet :)

After many, many many years of letting Instagram corrupt my little brain, I feel like it's a great time to fully reset for a whole year. Deleting the app from my phone and leaving my email/Letterboxd/Goodreads for my friends. In the meantime, I do think it would be a treat to document my time privately (on a public platform lol) on what I've been doing so I can look back at certain achievements or maybe have something written that could be interesting for someone else!

Just to spell out my intentions of what to share, I want to document:

Meals I've learned to cook (or that I've improved)

Annoying little think pieces that about YouTube videos or random topics

Songs that I've found along the way

I'm not really good at creating content, either fandom content or just like... actually substantial work. But while everything's private I'd love to just start shooting my thoughts out into the void
