can someone check the code hartswoodfilms(.)co(.)uk/programmes/sherlock-series-four/ im on mobile myb somethings there
this link is a 404 not found but if somebody knows what anon is talking about go to town
Nothing in the source code, but this is certainly weird…
The url to view series 1 is http://www.hartswoodfilms.co.uk/programmes/sherlock-series-1/. if you change up the end of the url to “-series-one,” you’ll get this image
the same thing will happen if you switch up the end of the url for series 2 (http://www.hartswoodfilms.co.uk/programmes/sherlock-series-2/) to “-series-two”
The working url for series 3 is http://www.hartswoodfilms.co.uk/programmes/sherlock-series-three/, and when you try to switch up the end of it to “-series-3,” you get the “page not found” error again.
HOWEVER…?? The url for series 4 is http://www.hartswoodfilms.co.uk/programmes/sherlock-series-four/ and will give you the typical details:
yet if you switch up THIS url to end in “-series-4” (the variant suggested by the latest update at http://thelostspecial.com/bbc-hartswood-sherlock-series-4/) you don’t get the error page, but an “unfinished” page for series 4, what lol
an “unfinished” page for series 4
Can you believe it? wow this keeps getting weirder and weirder and i love it!
HOLY SHIT!! IT UPDATED!!!
but now there’s only two X’s, and hasn’t it been around 10 days since that page went up? so, 20 days from now, is March 4. you may recognize that day, since after all it is the day the Study in Scarlet case begins. so, back to the source…
i got no idea on the rest of that, i at least couldn’t find anything wrong with that pic.

Rowan from IT here, as far as I can tell via spidering and cursory checks (title, comment, image) these are the only changes (besides the /xxx page being removed as you may or may not know).
Edit: Told a lie. Page: /bbc-hartswood-sherlock-series-4
Highlighted page header reveals - The End
Added to the Masterpost
Gen techy changes: There’s some more css that sets loads of things to black, something very dark that’s nearly black - feels copy-pasted. The homepage may have been turned into a subpage but can’t be sure.

tbh all I looked at in that moment was their joined hands
there is no reason for sherlocks fingers to curl like that around john’s hand NO REASON except that he just wants to know what it’s like again. the last time they held hands sherlock was marching off to his death FUCK
Im tearing up get this gif away from my face
Reblogging this every time because WHY. WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY
BBC’s second reply to my second complaint (which was about their poor reply to my first complaint)
[bold mine, my additions in italics]
Dear Ms Carlton Thank you for your further comments about ‘Sherlock’. We’re sorry to learn that you were disappointed with our previous reply. [No shit.] The BBC received feedback from some [”some”, really??] viewers unhappy with our ‘Sherlock’ statement, and most of these raise a number of similar/related issues. In line with the BBC’s complaints framework we are again issuing one response to all complainants. [You mean, “sorry we accused you of copy-and-pasting?!” LOL.] We realise you may be disappointed, but we can only reiterate that the BBC does not accept any of the allegations levelled at ‘Sherlock’ or its writers [what does that even mean, seeing as the allegations largely consisted of hard facts that nobody can possibly deny, unless they’re called Donald Trump??], and we wholeheartedly support the creative freedom of the writers to bring their vision to the screen [so why do you even have a complaints team if this is a valid argument, I wonder?]. We will register your continued disappointment about the series. [Well, that’s a great relief. I’m so glad. At least posterity will know that we tried.] At this point we must explain that there’s little more we can usefully add in response to your concerns. [Seriously, BBC, this is the best you can do? I don’t think so.] We do not believe your complaint has raised a significant issue of general importance that might justify further investigation. [Well, you’re simply wrong.] We will not therefore correspond further in response to additional points, or further comments or questions, made about this issue or our responses to it. We realise you will be disappointed to hear this but hope this explains why we are not able to take your complaint further. If you remain dissatisfied about our decision you can appeal to the BBC Trust, the body which represents licence fee payers. The Trust has asked that we should explain to complainants that the BBC’s Royal Charter draws a clear distinction between the role of the Trust - which determines the overall scope of the BBC’s services and sets its standards - and that of the BBC Executive - which runs the Corporation and decides what to broadcast and publish.
[If you’re still reading this, you can skip to the end because this is just boring yadayada…]
The Trust does not entertain every appeal submitted to it. It will normally hear appeals about the Executive’s decisions only if a complainant can show that they involved a potential breach of the BBC’s published standards, or that an operational decision has raised significant issues of general importance. The Trust is the final arbiter of which appeals it should consider. For the full information about the BBC Trust’s appeals procedures please visit www.bbc.co.uk/bbctrust/governance/complaints_framework/. If you wish to submit an appeal you must write within 20 working days of receiving this reply, explaining why you wish to appeal. You can contact the BBC Trust at 180 Great Portland Street, London W1W 5QZ, or by emailing [email protected]. Please would you include for them the relevant case reference which you may have been given. Thank you again for contacting us. Kind Regards BBC Complaints Team www.bbc.co.uk/complaints
So are they seriously making us appeal to the BBC Trust now? You wanna take this outside, BBC?
I’m just tired.
I received the same thing even though my second complaint was that their reply wasn’t at all relevant to the issue of my first complaint.
They’re so incompetent it’s breathtaking.

BBC SHERLOCK: THE GREATEST LOVE STORY NEVER TOLD
January 29th. The day these two met. The day their lives changed forever. The day a love story started, but was never truly acknowledged.
Some day the true story may be told.
Rosie: why'd you name me Rosie
John: you know this you're named after your mother
Rosie: yeah, but like, why
BBC: "And then, Mycroft's umbrella turned into a sword! And then a gun! And then a drone grenade propelled Sherlock through a second-story window unharmed! And then there's an island in the middle of the ocean that holds a Hannibal Lector woman with magic powers of mind control! And then Sherlock gets teleported back to his old mansion! And then Sherlock learns the power of love from his psychotic killer sister."
Us: "..."
Us: "..."
BBC: "We're very proud of this show."
Us: "..."
Us: "..."
Us: "Yeah, so Sherlock and John are in love."
BBC: "Now that's just crazy."
I am crying right now.
This is exactly my feelings on the show I am in love thank you for making this.
I really don’t know if the wonderful person who made this video has a tumblr, but I felt the necessity of sharing, because this video was important for me, so it could be for you here as well. I put in the tags, anyway, but it isn’t mine. Anyway….
Watch this right now
I am crying . I am fucking in tears here. I had to pause it in the middle. EVERYONE WATCH THIS YOU HAVE TO PLEASE HAVE TO. This is for us.
This is amazing
This is the part they didn’t show you in The Final Problem.
That rope was for Sherlock to climb down into the well to John. John had been struggling to keep his head clear of the water for a good while, and he was getting exhausted; hypothermia starting to set in. It was going to be another 10 minutes or so before the police arrived to unchain John and get all of them out of there, but that could seem an endless and fatal time for a fatigued man barely able to get a gasp of air.
Sherlock was quite a bit taller than John, so he took it upon himself to clamber down into the well and take on John’s weight so his friend could rest. How overwhelmed with relief he must be to be able to finally save his best friend from that cursed well. At this moment, it’s just the two of them, nothing else and no one else mattered.
(Discontinuity Error: I forgot to add the skull and some bones; I might add them later but who knows)
