It's my 5 year anniversary on Tumblr 🥳
Weight is not an indicator of health.
Digital illustration of a Black fem’s back. They are wearing a lilac bra and underwear. The background is littered with flowers. The text reads, ‘weight is not an indicator of health.’
if fighting fatphobia is not part of your politics i don't trust you.
we just can't fucking win. any positive video about us will be filled with these comments. you can watch a video of a fat athlete doing exercise that most people in these comments are not even physically capable of doing and yet all of them have the gall to say that this athlete will die in five years. we do not have the privilege of wrecking our bodies. people will say the most vile shit to us for daring to exist in their space. and no matter how much we yell, no one is listening. we're fucking tired. do something about it.
i don't think people really get how in the trenches fat activism is. you'll see on youtube tons of videos along the lines of "this activist died from being ob*se that means fat activism bad" actually. you are literally falling for the same shit the cdc said when it wanted to make ob*sity an epidemic. when skinny people die, we know what caused it. when fat people die, it's because they were fat. and that is why fat people shouldn't be respected. even though it has been proven time and time again that we die because doctors don't respect us enough to find a solution to our illnesses that doesn't involve weight loss. they want us to shrink and that is it. but no one cares. in fact, they want us dead. that's just how it is. they want us to die. and they want us to die from being fat. they don't care. they want us dead.
A huge chunk of people who supposedly "died from obesity" are people who died of a heart attack from the severe malnutrition caused by extreme diets, drugs like ozempic, and weight loss surgery(gastric bypass or band especially) that change how your stomach empties.
When you lose weight, the first thing to go is your muscles, not your fat, and guess what very important organ is a muscle? The heart. Ozempic, fasting, all that crap will eat at your muscles long before it burns any fat, and no, exercise* won't help, because you're still not getting the nutrients you need to keep your muscles going.
I'm not only speaking of scientific research, I'm also speaking from experience. I was on ozempic for several months back when I was diagnosed with insulin resistance, and I lost so much weight, so much that I felt I could ignore the fact that I was weaker than ever, the fact that my oral medications wouldn't work(some of which I need to Not Die), the fact that some days I could barely even keep water down. Eventually I couldn't keep going I was just too weak, so I stopped it, and I gained twice as much, I went from 100kg, to 80kg on ozempic, and now I'm 120kg. All of this could have been avoided if they'd not seen a far chick and decided losing weight was the only option, they never even put me on Metformin, I had to ask for that this year, 5 years after being diagnosed with insulin resistance.
I never got that muscle back because my rheumatoid arthritis has a lovely symptom known as exercise intolerance, where any exercise will basically leave me bedridden in agony or at the very least super fatigued.
That's another thing, they didn't catch my rheumatoid arthritis for years, they said to lose weight so your back doesn't hurt, and yeah, it helped my back, but that's because I have literal bone from my damaged sacrum rubbing up against flesh in a way it shouldn't, damage that could have been avoided if again they didn't see me as just a fat woman.
I need to lose weight, but I only intend to go back down to 100kg, just enough for my back to feel better, and not too heavy for lightweight mobility scooters, and it's gonna be so hard because of my IR to lose that weight that I wouldn't have needed to lose if I'd stayed at 100kg originally and been properly diagnosed with Pointy Bone Disease.
thank you for all your responses thus far. i'm glad to have read all your stories and experiences. but i want to highlight these tags in particular. (from @mouseratz )
i didn't really get into it the first time around but this is so important. you cannot fight fatphobia without feminism. women routinely have their health complaints downplayed. being a fat woman makes it worse. you cannot fight fatphobia unless you are anti-racist. for fat people of colour, the rate of medical neglect is much higher, compounded by racism in the medical field. (also, bmi is racist in its very conception.) you cannot fight fatphobia unless you are for disability activism. just like fat people, disabled people unfortunately have to be their own advocates, and it should not be this way. you cannot fight fatphobia unless you recognise classism. poor people do not have the privilege of affording doctors and specialists who may be out-of-network and so their options for finding good doctors are limited.
fatphobia is a class issue, it affects women, it affects people of colour, and it is in fact a disability issue. you cannot fight for one and neglect the others. all these ideals are connected.
[image description: screenshot of tumblr tags which say "annnd that is why I also think it is important that fat lib & disability activism should be together as well. #fatness is viewed as a sickness/a group of 'unwell' people who need to either get well or go away from public life #it is such a similar idea and concept. And often fat people are disabled or become disabled due to stress & medical neglect #and in general leftist ideas are all very connected.....as fatphobia has roots in racism classism and misogyny too. #you should just care because fat people's lives are important. but none of these issues exist in a vacuum. #understanding how its connected gives you a better idea of why any of these things happen other than cruelty. ]
Dear people drawing Adam from Hazbin hotel...

public service announcement to every plus-sized person in the chat:
you don't owe anyone an explanation for your body or your health
being fat isn't a moral failing deserving of judgment
you don't owe anyone self-shame or weight loss just to be loved and accepted
your health isn't solely defined by your weight
you deserve proper healthcare that doesn't reduce you to a number on a scale
you deserve to take care of your health in whatever way you need without being judged for trying
life is too short to not enjoy good food
life is WAY too short to care what other people think
just because other people want you to feel bad for being fat doesn't mean you should
you deserve to feel sexy and beautiful in your body without being reduced to a fetish or told that you're fetishizing fatness
you deserve to take pride in your body without being accused of 'promoting unhealthy lifestyles'
you deserve to date whoever the hell you want without judgment
you deserve to love yourself and your body without being called vain
you deserve to take selfies and share pictures of yourself without people commenting on your body
you deserve to have standards for yourself and how you're treated
you deserve to do what makes you happy and healthy without others turning you into a political statement or a social martyr
you're allowed to have flaws and quirks and personality traits that aren't attributed to your weight
there is no such thing as a "perfect fat person" and you certainly aren't responsible for setting that example
you are loved and you deserve to exist without apology or explanation
the world is better with you in it and that is not up for debate
Frida (Freud's Asymmetry), a 2018 work by Alvaro Neelix
One of the hotels new residents sees the king making goo goo eyes at Adam who is sitting at the bar eating a meatball sub and talking to Angel.
Sinner: I seriously don’t understand what you see in that fat ass?
Lucifer doesn’t respond and continues admiring from afar.
Sinner: Don’t have the guts to respond huh?
Lucifer remains still.
Sinner: No passionate defense for your little piggy huh?
Suddenly Adam gets up and heads to the bathroom. With that Lucifer spins his head around the sinner and with a splitting grin grabs him by the throat.
Lucifer: BREAK TIME!
He then proceeded to throw him straight into the ground. Head going down first. Hopefully crushing his skull.
Vanessa: Love is weakness and an evolutionary mistake.
Reeve: You are literally making a Valentine’s day card.
Vanessa, pointing the hot glue gun towards Reeve: You’re on thin fucking ice.
post-s3 hair
vanessa lets her natural color grow back out as a nod to her development into an honest, loyal character
mira goes blonde in honor of skeet
adam gains normal hair
my take on this
I think Vanessa would transition into more of a pinkish purple to show growth and change
Mira hair is still blue but i think she would wear a beanie to honor skeet
Adam starts to wear his hair un-styled/natural. I headcanon that he styles his hair that way.
More fat people in sex and porn but not in a fetish way, in a these are normal people with normal bodies way

Dumb of ass theory as to why the fucking snail shows up at the end of The Hollow
Main Theory: In the last episode, the two teams, team digital and team Niche, Eye, and Tie both jump into their respective portals at the same exact time. It’s possible the event caused a glitch or error, which possibly sort of merged the game world they were in, hence the bastard up above being alive somehow. This could also possibly mean that team B is now in the hollow life as well, possibly with memories of the game. This would have made for part of a nice season 3 setup…if Netflix wasn’t a cowar-

To Commissions or not to Commissions? That is the question
Currently struggling with something folks. I’m considering opening up commissions, but I’m not sure if my art is really worth much. I suppose I’d provide a full-body drawing of a character for like…5 to 7 dollars…?
Mostly considering opening up for commissions because I’m poor as hell and need money to pay off my financial debt. Having barely any money gives me crippling anxiety and makes it harder for me to create. I’d get a regular job but my mental disabilities make it very very hard to survive one, and I want to make a living off of my work anyways.
Me and @valarioncy have a Kofi, but no one has been biting. I figure if commissions are offered people might be willing to offer a bit of coin. Valarioncy is offering commissions (humans, anthros, animals, etc) through the Kofi right now, so why not I do that?
IDK, what does anyone think? Is my art commissionable? I might also be willing to ghost write for like a dollar or two. I don’t know still trying to determine if I have literally anything worthwhile to offer in exchange for money. Me and ValarionCy both need money really really bad.
And for those who stumble upon this post and don’t know me, here’s a small collection what I’ve drawn down below (most of these have not been seen by the public until now, actually. I keep this blog dedicated to The Hollow normally.)
With that, I bid everyone goodbye for now. If anyone wants to commission me, DM me about it. Check out the Kofi too if you’re a fan of @valarioncy ‘s work. Please reblog this post and spread it around!
