Ok, I get that a lot of people think that Tobin isn’t playing well lately BUT...

I honestly think, for the most part, she’s been getting dealt a bad hand. Sure she’s played better in the past but for the last several games, all I’ve noticed is her getting shafted.

Girl is bustin ass running up and down the field playing d, mid AND striker but when she’s finally in a scoring position (which is more rare b/c she’s constantly the set up) then the cross to her is crap, the pass to her doesn’t make it or is turned over, she gets fouled(not called) or called for a foul🙄 It’s always something. Plus she’s had several great passes/crosses that people weren’t able to capitalize on so her effort goes unnoticed.

Even tonight...Tobes was open running to the box and Pinoe botched a cross to her that I feel like she NEVER messes up that would’ve def resulted in a Heath goal. If she scores, no one has anything to say but she can’t without a chance.

All I’m saying is...give the girl a break. We all know she’s probably being hard enough on herself already. Thank you for coming to my TedTalk🤙🏼

OMG I feel the same. I think Vlatko wants her to play more defense and she has to run a lot. Whenever she’s free on a field nobody passes her a ball. She’s trying so hard but people don’t see that because she doesn’t score 🙄🥺 I really like Vlatko but I preferred Tobin role as more offensive player. She’s so incredible and I hope they wouldn’t waste her talent.
