Hi there! I just installed the default replacement picture frames and your post says I need custom thumbnails to see the recolors, but I am unable to find the thumbnails package needed. I was able to get the mesh and some recolors but cannot change the color of the DR. Can you please point me to where the needed thumbnails file is? Thank you!

Oh, you don't need thumbnails file, it is build in the Mesh, so you can see the thumbnails while you change the color of the Bv and University frames. All you need is the mesh and the recolors you like.

But, if, even after downloading mesh and the recolors, is still the recolors does not work, please let me know 😊

Just a tiny little thing today, while I work on some bigger stuff. This was originally gonna come out on or around my birthday. That was almost three months ago. Life got in the way. @balkopat was nice enough to fix an issue with my edit of her 4t2 birthday cake for me, and I added a couple new recolors because why not?

I haven't updated my previous post yet (life is still in the way) but if you already have my old edit, please replace the meshes with these new versions. This new edit fixes the height of the plate, so it won't sink into some tables and counters. It also fixes the cake slices staying on the plates after they've been eaten. Thank you again, Balkopat!

The new recolors are berry (yellow cake, white frosting, berry filling) and lilac (yellow cake, light purple frosting). Both have new matching plate recolors too. Older recolors will work with the updated meshes. All recolors will also work with Balkopat's original 4t2 cake, if you prefer that shape.

Here is a litte life update..

I’ve been off the grid for quite some time now, and there’s a reason for that. A lot has changed in my life recently. I got a new job, and since it’s based in Qatar, I also moved to a new country. Between the stress of relocating and starting a new job, it’s been a lot more exhausting than I anticipated. The whole process took longer than I expected, and I haven’t even been able to turn on my computer for months! Between wrapping up my old job, moving, and settling into the new one, I’ve been completely cut off from my hobbies.

But I’m still here, and I’m definitely not giving up on one of my favorite game. That’s a promise! For now, that’s all from me. Oh, and happy 20th anniversary to The Sims 2! 🎉

After three sim life times, lots of works, renovations and mod testing, Florence was ready to move on..

She was still thinking about her renovated house and business. This call was hard to make for her..

But, in the end, new life cannot be build without leaving the old one. She closed her business left her house.

And went to Malcolm's place..

Malcolm was waited her at the entrance..

"I am sorry," said Malcolm, "You leave your house because of me. I know you was put a lot of work on there."

"It is ok," Florence replied, "We will be made someting better together."

"Thank you, Florenece. I'm happy you're here."

"Mee too, Malcolm.."

Malcolm Landgraab IV, is a businessman. He own two businesses: Club Dante and Electronics Supercenter.

He helped me for testing of business mods.

Club Dante is the one… I didn't like it.. It was huge, hard to control, hard to decorate to make it look good and wasn't bring enough money. So he sold it very fast..

But look at the Electronic Supercenter! Malcolm like to working at it!

It looks bright and fun!

He became much more richer than he was. He likes to work!

And his house get a brand new luxury look from outside..

To the inside..

But he was so lonely at that huge house.

He was spend his life at home sleeping,

Eating,

And workout.. It was hard to be a eligible bachelor in a small neighborhood!

Luckily, he was like dinner parties!

And secretly, he was love to dating with Florance Delarosa,

Florence love to start her day with flowers..

She crafts as much bouquet as she can until noon.

At noon, she enjoy her sunroom with some coffee..

After that she open her business and work realy hard on that.

While working, Florance meet with so many new Sims!

One of the customer, was super nice.

She asked him for a date..

Later that day Florence was super excited. She prepared for hours..

She cooked a nice cheese cake for him. They talked about a better hood with better life style..

And they get close..

Realy close..

But that night, she had an unwanted guest too.

Fortunaly, Police officer reached at time and won the fight with the Thief!

Life is started at Bluewater Village..

...with Florance Delarosa.

She was the best candidate for testing mods: lives alone, no family members, have home business.. Plus she is one of a ancestor from my old hood "Capital "

During the tests of mods, Florence worked really hard at her flower shop.

And helped me finding the business mods I will be needed in future. But with Eaxis lots, everything was boring and Florence gain too much money during those tests.

She gave a makeover to her business with the money she got.

Renovating her business, gave her more space to fill with new flowers.

More Customers..

And ofcourse, more money!

What to do next?

Renovating outside of the house of course! That Yellow bulding with poor garden was not serve her business well.

She made herself a lovely garden to work on. She grow up some crops to eat..

Florence has skills at kitchen too.. But her kitchen was not helping her to enjoy her meal,

As you can guess, she had a new kitchen and..

A new living room..

Once we reach to the bedroom, we was know,

Play-testing mods was not the deal anymore.. Ofcourse, she got a new bedroom too..

I have restarted my hood again.. That old hood I have was corrupted at its core. I want it back, worked to be recover it but.. I was learn a lot about my beloved game and there wasn't turning back from it.

Main problem is, I want it all.. Defaults, fixed old cc, fast opening, some mods and more.. But these take too much time and I wanna play too 😭

So, in the end, I decided to restart the my entire hood from first generation.. Which that hood has 5 generations already.. In that way, I can play and made my tests at the same time.. And don't have too much worry about to be corraption..
