Also today at the gallery some of the board ppl were there for a meeting and i heard someone say “how good is ball parks new album” and everyone said it was good and I wanted to jump up and down like BALL PARK IS MY LIFE I AM SO EXCITED TO IMMERSE MYSELF PROPERLY INTO THIS ALBUM I LOVE BPM I HAVE SEEN THEM LIVE SO MANY TIMES AND ONE TIME LIKE 3 YEARS AGO THEY REBLOGGED SOMETHING I POSTED ON TUMBLR IT WAS CRAZY but I should not have been eavesdropping and honestly the only reason I started listening in was bc they mentioned ball park hahaha but yeah im 22 I defs shouldn’t be fangirling like this lol

BALL PARK MUSIC. Every song that this Aussie band cranks out is pure gold. Why? CATCHY, RELATABE, DIVERSE. Both piano and acoustic guitar add a sweet touch to some seriously well-crafted indie songs. Let’s not forget to mention the beautiful male-female vocals going. “All I Want is You” is catchy as all hell, has a killer guitar solo, and is guaranteed to get stuck in your head. Ball Park Music is a band to go back to again, again, and again. Highly recommended. 

Also BPM, their damn name acronym is pun level shit that only college kids could think of.

We are releasing a new set of T-Shirts celebrating the artworks I've done for Daniel's kick drum in recent years. With every tour we try to think of some interesting ways to spice up the show. For a long time, we had digital designs printed on the kick drum skin, but then we either got lazy or unorganised (or both) and found ourselves about to head out on a tour with nothing but a big plain white kick skin and a Sharpie. I remember it was the first show of this particular tour and we were in Newcastle. We'd just finished soundcheck and I was bored so I started noodling away. I'd done it on a few snare drum skins we'd given away before, but not a kick. I remember the colouring in took so god damn long and I felt high on text fumes by the time I wrapped. Either way, I was chuffed and a bit of tradition began. These two new designs are the first in an ongoing series. We'll be doing a limited run available through our online store and we'll also be taking some on our upcoming European tour. Enjoy!
