We took Zoe to her first East Egg Hunt. She was so distracted by all of the other toddlers she found a whopping two eggs. It was still a fun experience.

Someone doesn't like napping in a strange location by herself. So we're just cuddling by the pool.

So we're going through a phase of attachment anxiety where going to sleep is the meanest thing we make Z do. Napping is avoided at all costs and going to sleep is an absolute struggle. Tonight we had 30 minutes of crying followed by 30 minutes of rocking and cuddling with mommy followed by 30 minutes of reading her books with the lights on in her crib. This is how I found her finally zonked. Z is determined to teach me patience.

Making progress at Casa de Bailey. We now have exterior walls, interior walls, a roof, windows and doors. You can really get a feel for the space. Exciting times.
