do you mind if you do some chisato/maya headcanons? They’re my favorite pasupare pair!!

Here ya go anon!!

• Chisato was the one to confess to Maya. The whole ordeal was formal; Chisato set up a meeting place and outlined her feelings clearly, along with the risks of getting into a relationship as idols in a unit together. She asked Maya to consider her response overnight, though Maya could barely process the fact that someone as beautiful and put-together as Chisato would confess to her in the first place.

• Because of her self-doubt, Maya refused to believe that someone like Chisato would be interested in her. The next day, Maya told her that she wasn’t ready to start a relationship because she was still working on improving herself. Chisato refused to accept the rejection because she respects Maya for who she is. After hearing this, Maya realized that Chisato’s feelings were genuine and accepted them.

• While Chisato recognizes that Maya is capable of taking care of herself, she worries a lot about Maya’s health. She synchronized their calendar app so she could set reminders for Maya to keep up on her health and beauty regiments. Maya doesn’t necessarily follow Chisato’s schedule, but she appreciates her girlfriend’s care for her wellbeing.

• Whenever they hug or cuddle, Maya stims with Chisato’s hair. It bothered Chisato at first, but she didn’t want to say anything about it. Now she finds it endearing.

• When Hina discovered that Chisato and Maya were dating, she joked that they’re like the Mama and Papa of PasuPare who take care of the rest of them like children. They both found the comment embarrassing, but when talking about it without the other members around, they had fun imagining PasuPare as a big happy family. They agreed that they hoped to keep on taking care of PasuPare together for a long time.

• Because they both have such busy schedules, they don’t get to spend a lot of time together. To make up for lost time, Chisato goes to the Haneoka theater clubroom when everyone else has gone home. Maya always stays late to check all the sound equipment. While Maya works, Chisato practices for upcoming drama roles. When they’re both finished, they walk home together, trying a different route each time to maximize their time together.

Yukiran seems to be a rare ship! How do you think they would react when they find out they’ve admired each other under all that rivalry?

I always thought that YukiRan was a more popular ship! I remember seeing a lot of it around when Garupa first came out, anyway. Here’s a helping of headcanons!

•  While Yukina and Ran have an intense rivalry, they’re both respectful of each other. They’ve always been keen to each other’s similarities. Each of them knows the other is steadfast in their passion for music, and seeing the other push forward with their band inspires them to do the same. 

•  For a long time, they avoided each other, both out of respect for their rivalry and their difficulties communicating. After their joint concert, they became more comfortable with each other and started chatting more often. Not just about their bands any more, but about other things, the kinds of things they would chat with acquaintances about. That was when they really came to know each other’s similarities, which developed into a deeper sort of kinship.

•  Romantic feeling took much longer to develop, not until Yukina’s graduation drew closer. They met up at CiRCLE for what was meant to be an individual practice session that turned into a joint one. After assessing each other’s vocals, they ended uphaving a conversation about the future of their bands. Yukina was considering disbanding, considering how drastically everyone schedules would change with everyone but Ako going off to university. Ran understood why she would make that decision, but criticized her instead. She said that if Roselia stopped their activities, Afterglow would go on to win Future World Fes and become the most renowned girls’ band in Japan, just to spit in the face of Roselia’s legacy. That encouraged Yukina to rethink her decision and her relationship with Ran.

•  Yukina realized that without Ran pushing her forward, she wouldn’t have reached the heights she had, and wanted to keep Ran in her life even after graduation. They continued to talk after that, often practicing their vocals over video chat together. Whenever they could, they would meet up in person, even putting on joint performances without the rest of their bands if everyone else was busy.

•  This allowed them to come to terms with their feelings for each other, and settle into a relationship built on mutual trust and building each other up. They agreed that even in a relationship, their bands took top priority, but their relationship is what allows their bands to reach the greatest of heights.

Could you do some headcannons about aya and hina dating?

Here you go anon! I’m sorry that it took so long!

•  Aya’s crush on Hina developed slowly, from when PasuPare was formed. She thought Hina was cute at first, and fell in love with all her little eccentricities from there. Still, she found Hina difficult to approach emotionally, so it was just a crush for a long time.

•Hina was perceptive to Aya’s affection for her, but didn’t recognize it as a crush. She started asking Aya questions about her lingering looks and subtle compliments, though she saw it more as “Aya being weird” than “Aya has a crush on me”.

•  At one point, Aya slipped up and called Hina cute. This led Hina to pressing her about it, asking exactly why Aya found her cute. Aya got flustered and ran away before saying too much, but that helped Hina put two and two together.

•  Hina’s knowledge of romance is pretty limited, mostly inspired by the world of shoujo manga and other love stories. Based on this idealism of fantasy romance, she decided to consult Kaoru of all people for love advice. Of course, Kaoru’s view of romance is just as naïve…

•  As a response to Aya’s sort-of-confession, Hina bought a tailored suit and a bouquet of roses and invited Aya to a romantic candlelit dinner (set up in her backyard). Sayo tried to deter her, but Hina insisted that Aya would think a lovey-dovey setup like that would be “totally boppin’”.

•  When Aya arrived, she experienced a mix of intense joy and intense embarrassment. She was happy that Hina would go to such lengths for her, but she was even happier that the whole ordeal was private. She played along with Hina’s scenario, but kept getting flustered throughout it, especially when Hina started calling her “little kitten” and generally doing the kinds of things Kaoru would do.

•  Aya wasn’t sure how to respond as first, simply thanking Hina and going home to think things through. All night. Without getting a wink of sleep. She asked Chisato for advice the next day, who insisted that she should be honest with Hina about how she felt.

•  Aya ended up talked with Hina after their next practice. She assured Hina that she wanted to go out with her, but hoped that any future dates would be more low-key and “normal”. Hina was overjoyed. She still does romance research to try and figure out how to be the best kind of girlfriend for Aya, but she’s been going to more down-to-earth sources for advice.

I responded to an anon request for AriMisa headcanons from May 2018 (phew... it really has been a long time!) but the post wasn’t formatting properly and I got frustrated so I deleted the first draft... along with the anon message! I’m really disappointed because if that anon was still using an active blog they’d be notified that I’d responded to their request, but I can’t access it anymore! They mentioned that they wanted to see AriMisa headcanons because they really liked their relationship in the Blooming Sakura event. I recently read another event story I missed and that got me thinking about their relationship, so I was excited to do this one! I hope you get to see this one anon! If you do, please send me a message to let me know it was you!! 

•  Arisa and Misaki aren’t especially affectionate, at least not in a way that’s obvious. It’s not a secret that they’re dating, but since they don’t hold hands or exchange I-love-you, their friends often have to be reminded.  

•  Misaki’s love language is words of affection. While “I love you” doesn’t come easily to her, she’ll often compliment Arisa’s patience and attention to detail. She makes sure to give Arisa’s bonsai plenty of praise whenever she sees them.

•  Arisa’s love language is gifts, and she finds it difficult to express affection any other way. Misaki doesn’t seem to mind, and in fact appreciates that Arisa is so low-key in the way she shows her love. Arisa never feels like she has to prove to Misaki that she loves her by making grand gestures, which makes her feel comfortable. Still, she puts a lot of thought into the gifts she gives to Misaki, usually practical things like art supplies or home appliances. She knows that Misaki is a practical person, so she’ll appreciate small useful gifts more than something expensive and frivolous.

•  Misaki spends a lot of time helping out at Ryuuseidou. She doesn’t know a lot about antiques, but she enjoys the quiet work of cleaning and sorting them with Arisa. Misaki appreciates having some quiet time to spend with her girlfriend at the end of the day, after all the craziness HaroHapi puts her through.

•  Still, Misaki is the more adventurous of the two. She’s usually the one to make decisions about date locations since Arisa can be indecisive. Misaki knows about all sorts of unique attractions through Kokoro, so she ends up taking Arisa to the milder ones. Even if the experience ends up being too much for Arisa, she always has a lot to say about it, and Misaki enjoys hearing her criticisms.

Hi? I just wanted to say I appreciate you and this blog and I enjoy everything you post, even if Bandori character/character isn’t usually my thing. Sorry if this is rude, but I was wondering if you’re still active, your last post was a while ago. Also, what kind of headcanons do you do other than character/character?

Hello anon, and thank you for your message! I’m glad you’ve enjoyed the headcanons I’ve written for this blog! I always tried to keep my character/character posts fairly neutral so I’m happy you enjoyed them even if you don’t normally like character/character! To answer your question, I’ll do headcanons for anything at all! I honestly enjoy doing silly ones like “what kind of pets do the girls have” or “what were the girls like as children” even more than ship headcanons! 

And it has been a while since I’ve last posted, hasn’t it? I’m sorry about piggybacking off your question here, but I’d like to take this opportunity to update everyone on what been going on, why I’ve been absent all this time, and my future plans for this blog. Sorry if it gets a bit long!

I started this headcanons blog around the time Garupa first released in Japan. I fell for the franchise hard and wanted to know more about it, but there wasn’t a lot of fan content at the time. I was a lurker back then, way too shy to post my own content or even talk to anyone online, but I really wanted to make something for this game I loved. So bandori-headcanons was born!

I had a great running the blog, even though I was nervous! It was a lot of fun seeing everyone’s ideas and pairings and trying to come up with fun headcanons for them! I actually started shipping YukiKasu because of a request I got on here, and came to appreciate a few ships that I didn’t like at first. I felt a lot of love from the community as well, and I even had some fan content made, which surprised me!

I can’t remember exactly why I stopped posting, but I think I was overwhelmed. School and work were wearing me down, I had a lot of requests that I wasn’t sure if I could fulfil, my hyperfixation on Bandori was starting to fade. I felt really guilty about not posting but I didn’t want to abandon bandori-headcanons altogether, so I left it, expecting to come back to it some time later. A lot of things have happened since then. I haven’t been playing Garupa regularly for a long time, and I’m not caught up on the stories at all.

A couple days ago, Kasumi’s second Dreamfes card was leaked. Kasumi is still such an important character to me, and seeing her made me start thinking of Bandori again. I logged back onto this blog on a whim and I was surprised to see that people are still interacting with my old posts and sending requests! I’m so happy that the EN Bandori community is even more active that ever!

I still want to make good on the requests I’ve gotten over the past couple of years. I’ll probably be working on them slowly since I have a lot of real-life stuff going on that takes priority, but I’m going to try my best to address every single one! For now, requests are CLOSED. I’m going to leave the ask box open for now, but if I still end up getting a bunch of requests I’ll be closing that as well. Could I get headcanons of Kaoru and Chisato’s childhood, how they met and what they did before Kaoru became popular?

I kind of touched on their childhood friendship in this post, but I’ll expand on it here!

• Kaoru used to pick fights with bullies while she built her valiant prince persona, though she usually lost. Chisato would usually end these fights by making threats to the bullies, and took care of Kaoru afterwards. 

• As Chisato grew in popularity, Kaoru would act as her “bodyguard” while walking to and from school, brandishing a plastic sword. She’d even carry her over puddles despite not being that strong. Although it was embarrassing, Chisato was glad to see Kaoru’s building confidence. 

• At one point, Chisato’s mom made her daughter and her friend princess and prince costumes for Halloween. Chisato rarely wore her costume, but Kaoru loved hers so much that she even wore it to school. She later gifted Chisato’s mother a bouquet of flowers as a thank you. 

• Chisato once played a village child in a film set in medieval times. After filming was over, she asked the director if she could take the hero’s sword prop. It took a lot of convincing, but she given the sword, which she gave to Kaoru for her birthday. It made Kaoru cry, and she still keeps it on display in her room. 

• When they started going to different middle schools, Chisato overheard that Kaoru was popular with girls. She didn’t expect Kaoru’s princely persona would be so well-loved, but she wasn’t surprised.

Got any romantic Rinko x Yukina headcanons?

• Before they started dating, Rinko would show up to band practice early to hear Yukina practice her scales. At first she’d observe quietly from the corner as not to be seen or heard. After Yukina noticed her presence, Rinko started accompanying her. 

• Since they’re both quiet, they prefer to spend quality time together in silence. Even just sitting in Rinko’s room, with Rinko playing videogames and Yukina mixing a new song, is pleasant to them. 

• If they do ever go on dates, they go to cat cafés. They can spend hours there. Rinko is allergic to cats, but pretends not to be because she loves seeing Yukina so happy.  

• Rinko often feels like she’s doing something wrong, and Yukina gets flustered trying to make her feel better. When Rinko’s emotions reach a critical point, Yukina just hugs her without saying a word. Things calm down a bit after that. 

• Yukina likes to lean on Rinko’s shoulder while she’s reading. Sometimes she reads along with her, and looks for the books she finds interesting so they can discuss them.

I’m trying to respond to requests in the order this came in, but so many people have requested this ship that I had to. I’ve also been waiting for people to request this one, because I absolutely adore Ran and Moca together!    

• Their relationship came as an inevitability. There was no big confession or anything like that. They were just chatting one day as they usually do, and Moca joked that Ran would love her no matter how weird she was. Ran nodded in agreement gave Moca a hug. Although they didn’t exchange “I love yous”, they acknowledge that as the moment where their relationship started.  

• Ran and Moca’s getting together came as no surprise. Out of everyone in Afterglow, they were the closest. When they brought up their relationship to the rest of their band, everyone else was confused because she thought they were dating this whole time. 

• Any other time Moca mentions that she mentions Ran is her girlfriend, people think it’s a joke. She’s so playfully affectionate with her that people who don’t know her well can’t see her being so genuine. 

• Ran doesn’t really talk about her relationship with Moca, though she smiles whenever she comes up in conversation. Since Ran doesn’t smile much, everyone knows what’s up. 

• Moca only talks about Ran more, especially when she’s working with Lisa. Although Lisa’s insanely jealous, she doesn’t take up Moca’s offers of relationship advice. Not necessarily because Moca would give bad advice, but she thinks that Moca and Ran are on such a strong wavelength that she wouldn’t be able to get into a relationship the same way they did. 

• While Ran doesn’t have a nickname for Moca, Moca calls her the most ridiculously excessive pet names. Things like sweetie boo, darling dearest, honey bunny, and spicy mama. She mostly does it to make her girlfriend mad, but calls her Ran in more serious moments. 

• Ran has actually written a love song inspired by Moca, but has no intention of sharing it with anyone, at any point. It’s about girls going to a bread shop together and gradually falling in love.

You talked abt Lisa playing dress up games on her phone. There’s an app called Love Nikki Dress Up Queen, it’s AMAZING. I’m betting Lisa loves that game.

Honestly, that’s exactly the game I was thinking of! It’s one of my favourites too! 

It took Lisa a while to get good at the game because she’d try to make actual fashionable outfits for the stages/arena/events. Her Starry Corridor submissions are always popular, though. She prefers the more casual clothing of the Apple Federation, but she’s shown Rinko some of the Lilith Kingdom outfits to inspire Roselia’s stage costumes.

Yukina

• Yukina doesn’t care much for the idol music, but enjoys the gameplay. She worked her way up to Master songs within a couple weeks, and full-comboes most of them. • She didn’t even know about the gacha aspect of the game until she accidentally pressed the clicked into it. After the tutorial, she just completely forgot about it. She was mostly using her love gems to refresh LP. • Once she started scouting, she’d exclusively go for Dia and Rin cards. She likes Dia’s serious nature and passion for music. It should be obvious why she likes Rin.

Sayo

• Sayo doesn’t really have the time for that nonsense. She played it a bit because Hina wouldn’t stop talking about it, and she wasn’t crazy about the experience. • That being said, she enjoys Umi’s personality, and occasionally pokes into the game and collects daily gems to scout for her. • She didn’t realize the game had levels of difficulty, and tried playing Umi’s solo song when it popped up on Master. Naturally, she failed, but kept trying until she completed the song with barely any energy left. She was going to continue, but gave up after checking the song rankings and finding Hina’s account near the top.

Lisa

• Although she prefers to play dress up games on her phone, she found SIF while scrolling through her suggested apps. She thought the idol costumes were charming and decided to give it a shot. • She likes the sets where the girls wear casual clothes, and she’s even tried to emulate some of their outfits. • Her favourite girl is Kanan, not only because she’s laid back and caring, but because she’s super gay for her. Kanan’s wedding UR made a whale out of her.

Ako

• She started playing SIF solely because of Yohane. Ako typically prefers fantasy-based strategy games, but she relates to Yoshiko so much that she just had to try out the game she’s in.  • Even though she got bored with the gameplay quickly, she pushed on to get Yohane’s solo songs and cards. She sacrifices any cards that aren’t Yohane. • She also sees Yohane as an inspiration. When Rinko doesn’t have any cool lines to provide her, she tries to think of something Yohane might say.

Rinko

• After Ako suggested the game to her, she had an easy time with it. In fact, she was terrible at Easy and Normal songs, but had a much better time with Expert and Master. • She has a lot of patience for it too. After playing through every song on every level, she aimed to SSS each and every song. She’s gotten pretty far into μ’s discography. • She doesn’t pay much attention to the story, but she appreciates Yoshiko’s aesthetic. Her favourite card in the whole game is vampire Honoka, though.

If you don't mind doing this. How about hc about Misaki and Kokomo trying to hide their relationship from the other band members, but later getting caught? If not then just hc about the two is fine.

• Misaki was embarrassed about making their relationship public, mostly because she knew Kokoro would be obnoxious about it. She wanted to tell her friends and bandmates before Kokoro started acting affectionate with her. However, she couldn’t build up the courage, so the secret went on for a while.  

• Of course, Kokoro was really bad at hiding it. She tried really hard to be sly by sneaking love notes and fancy bento boxes into her girlfriend’s backpack, which people noticed. 

• A couple times during band practice, Kokoro accidentally kissed Misaki on the cheek. When she remembered she wasn’t supposed to do that, she’d kiss everyone else.  

• Kaoru was the first to notice. She can spot a budding love as soon as it sprouts, or so she says. In reality, she saw them on a secret date. 

• Once Kaoru brought it up, Misaki knew it was time to tell everyone. She got nervous, and instead confessed that Kokoro and Michelle were dating. Kokoro jumped in to clear things up, which just made everything more confusing. 

• A couple days later, she let her school friends know. They kind of guessed something was going on, but they just couldn’t believe Misaki would date Kokoro of all people. This led to a five minute rant about how wonderful Kokoro is, despite her eccentricities.

Can you do hcs for my extremely rare (to the point that I had to take matters into my own hands and make content rip) ot3, Yukina x Ran x Kasumi??? Thank youuuuu

You’re welcome! ^.^ I hope this is to your liking~• If it weren’t for Kasumi, these three never would have gotten together. Since Yukina and Ran had difficulty communicating, Kasumi bridged the gap between them by setting them up on a date. She just knew they were meant to be. 

• When they went on this date, of course Kasumi came along to see how things were going. She didn’t sneak around or anything; she just straight up went along with them, encouraging them to talk and starting conversations for them. 

• Although Yukina and Ran were weirded out at first, they were grateful for Kasumi’s company. They continued inviting her along after that. 

• Kasumi was more than happy to go, but she was worried she was imposing on them. The other two assured her that they loved having her around, though they were too nervous to say they loved her too. 

• The other two did little things to show Kasumi their affection, like buying her little gifts or hugging her after live shows. She eventually realized what was up, and was happy to join them in a polyamorous relationship. 

• After this step, Kasumi comfortable initiating dates, and giving her girlfriends pecks on the cheek whenever they met up. She’s definitely the most affectionate out of the three.

Hi hi~ have you any headcanons for SayoLisa? platonic or romantic or both~

• Sayo never really enjoyed shopping for clothes before she started dating Lisa. Even though she prefers to watch Lisa try things on, she’s taken a couple outfit suggestions from her girlfriend. She notices Lisa’s subtle attempts to make her dress more gyaru, though. 

• Between practice sessions, Lisa visits Sayo to take care of her hands and nails. Sayo worries that Lisa is doing too much for her, but Lisa likes the intimacy of these moments. 

• As a way of repaying her, Sayo gives Lisa cute accessories she finds. Although Sayo may not have an aesthetic eye, Lisa makes it a point to wear every accessory her girlfriend gives her.  

• Lisa was the first to let Hina know they were dating. Of course, Hina was upset about her sister not telling her, but she also thinks it’s weird that someone as fun as Lisa would date someone as serious as Sayo. 

• Lisa doesn’t see Sayo as serious or stuck-up, though. In fact, she finds Sayo’s strong-willed nature motivational. She’s always been a bit flippant, and wants to pursue her passions more seriously. Whenever she thinks of giving up on something, she remembers Sayo’s dedication to see things to their end and tries harder.

Yukina

• She was a bit of a homebody. She couldn’t even sleep over at Lisa’s house without getting homesick. • The first time she walked home on her own, she chased a cat into an unfamiliar neighbourhood and got scared. Her parents offered to keep driving her home, but she still wanted that independence. Instead, she’d wait for Lisa to finish up her extracurricular activities so they could walk home together. • All of her letters to Santa requested one thing: a cat. Although she never got one, she got loads of cat-related merchandise from her extended family. She hasn’t gotten rid of any of it.

Sayo

• Before high school, she and Hina got similar grades. Both of them were treated as gifted, though Hina was praised more because she picked up extracurricular talents. Sayo was still jealous of her sister, but it hit a critical point when her grades slipped in middle school. • She’s always been a stickler for rules. Although some people found her annoying because of this, she used her reputation as a tattletale to stand up to bullies. • She tried really hard to be independent. Even if she wasn’t entirely confident, she’d try to do things all by herself before asking for help.

Lisa 

• Lisa’s grandmother taught her how to crochet amigurumi when she was very young. She distributed her creations at craft fairs and even won a couple young artist competitions.  • She spent most of her time at Yukina’s house, and she was almost like another family member. She even did household chores, and helped Yukina’s mom with preparing and cleaning up dinner.  • One day, the rest of Yukina’s dad’s band came to visit. Since Lisa was staying over, she got to chat with them. The bassist seemed really cool, and she even taught Lisa a few chords! The rest is history.  

Ako

• She always sympathized with the villains in fairy tales. Even though she knew they were bad, they were just so much cooler! Who wants to be a boring princess when you could have dark magic? Tomoe used to make up alternate endings where the villains won for her.  • Even though she wasn’t supposed to, she played in the woods by herself. She would go out late and try to summon demons, or search for portals into alternate worlds.  • Although she couldn’t afford them, she really liked the collectable dragon statues she saw in fancy toy stores. She eventually received one as a gift, and it’s her most prized possession.  

Rinko

• She read way above her grade level. By the time she was in fourth grade, she could read fantasy epics with ease. • She loved to play pretend, but she didn’t have many friends to play with. Usually she’d go out into the forest and pretend to be a witch, taking along neighbourhood cats as her familiars.  • She first got into videogames through free-to-play MMOs. Since there was a lot of negativity and anger in those communities, she tried to balance things out with positivity and cute emojis. She also gave away powerful items and hordes of gold to new players in need, without expecting anything in return.
