āI miss being able to perform in-front of Army...when we will be able to see each other in person again....ā
Yoongi was nervous about the comeback that he has hidden from his fans and well he hid it from the other to. It was hard to keep a secret from someone he seen everyday and loved with all his heart that he hated keeping secrets from but, this comeback means something special for Yoongi and he wanted this to be a surprise for everyone. Especially now with how the world is and they canāt tour, he wanted this to be a gift for his fans. Glancing at the time, he saw an hour has now passed since his new mix tape has been released to the world and he glanced up from the couch as the door opened and the other ran into the living room. āI can explain why I hid it from you Jagi!ā
Jin smiles as Namjoon left with Mei and Yoogni who was finally allowing himself to sleep because of the medication he was given so Jin pulls out his phone and starts scrolling through it until they tell him visiting hours over and he nods his head and moves to wake Yoogni up and tells him that him and Namjoon are leaving and Mei will back in the morning and he nods his head and falls back into a medicated sleep.
Mei awoke feeling refreshed and a lot calmer. She called Jimin to pick her up, since her car was left at the hospital the night before, and he showed up with Jungkook ready to visit Yoongi. The three of them picked up some food on the way, and Mei was happy to see Yoongi when they arrived back at the hospital.
To say Yoogni was bored was putting it lightly, heās been awake for a few hours since the doctor came in a checked his shoulder. Meaning they moved it for a bit to check everything out and so now it was hurting and he was uncomfortable because it hurt and it clearly showed on his face because Jungkook said he looked like something was bothering him when he walked into the room with Jimin and Mei. āIām bored, Iāve been awake for a few hours and the doctor has been here poking and checking my shoulder so now itās a bit uncomfortable.ā
Mei took her spot beside his bed and frowned at his words. They would be weaning him off the strong meds at this point, and she felt bad for him being in pain. āIs there anything I can do to help?ā she asked softly.
āKnock me out?ā He asked as Jimin laughed along with Jungkook āso I can sleep until tomorrow and be at my parents house with you and Holly.ā He sighs and leans back against the pillows āit would of been better if they didnāt have to come in here and check my shoulder.ā
āTheyāre just doing their job,ā Jungkook shrugged. Mei pulled her food out of the takeout bag and grumbled, āYeah, because causing a patient unnecessary pain is totally a job worth 200,000 dollars a year...ā She pulled out a box for Yoongi as well, āAre you hungry, Yoongs?ā
āThey have to come in and check on someone who just had surgery Meiā Jimin says ātheyāve got to make sure everything is starting to heal up right.ā Yoogni nods at Mei who sits a box of food in front of him and it was from one of his favorite breakfast spots so he couldnāt help but to reach in the box and grab the biscuit.
Mei couldnāt really fault Jimin for defending the nurses. He and the other boys knew she was afraid of hospitals, but not the full extent of her fear. Not even Yoongi really knew the whole story, just that she visciously hated hospitals and doctors and nurses. She just sighed and let it go. āHave you called your mother yet? She texted me this morning to check up on you,ā she asked Yoongi.
He shakes his head no āno Iāve not called her yet, I canāt find where my phone has ended up.ā He says as he shrugs his good shoulder ābut I think itās in my bag over there. I havenāt exactly had the energy to get out of bed yet to go and look for it.ā
She grudgingly left her spot beside him to go and rummage through his bag, and successfully found his phone in it. āEight missed calls from her already,ā she chuckled, handing it to him.
āDid I leave it on silent then? I swear it hasnāt rang on me.ā He said to her as he grabbed his phone to text his mother to let him know that he was ok and would leave the hospital tomorrow to head to her house.
Mei sat back down beside him and packed up all the leftover food, and then fussing a little over Yoongiās blanket. She felt it was much too thin to provide any actual warmth, and she frowned when she felt his cold skin. āFlimsy ass blanket...ā she grumbled to herself.
āJagi Iām fine...ā he said as he watches as she messes with his blanket āIām not even that cold right now.ā Yoogni leans back against his pillow and yawns again as he watches were she sits in the car and he smiles softly at her and reaches over with his good arm to hold out his hand for her.
āSheās already like a mother hen. Iāll feel bad when you guys have kids and they get sick,ā Jimin laughed from his place on the couch. Mei went quiet, her grip on Yoongiās hand tightening. āIf we have kids,ā she said absently, almost correcting him with her tone. She fiddled with the sleeve of Yoongiās hospital gown.
āItās to early to talk about that...we are in a good place right now and she already has seven kids to take care.ā He said referring to the other members of the group āespecially you three trouble makers keep her hands full.ā
Mei smiled softly as Jimin and Jungkook began to complain about what he said. She was content to not comment on the topic anymore. She was just ready for the day to be over so they could go to his parents house already.
āAhh...Jagi....you ok staying here?ā He says to her as he looks over at her and wants to make sure she is ok being in here in the room with him.

Standing before the King and Queen was not something Byul-yi ever thought sheād be doing, but there she was. Dressed in her ragged clothes and covered in dirt, she mustāve looked a sight to anyone who didnāt know the situation. The cruel reality was that Byul-yi had finally been caughtā after her whole life thieving to survive, sheād been done in by stealing a lousy loaf of bread. It was almost comical. Sure-footed Byul-yi, the best thief in the town (and surely the most wanted) had gotten caught because she wanted some bread. The king and queen didnāt particularly regard her with disdain, and that was about the only thing good about the situation. For all she knew, she was about to be sentenced to death. In the quiet of the throne room, her stomach made an awful sound of starvation. The queen relented first with a sigh of pity, āRemove her chains. Send her to the servants quarters and get her cleaned up and fed. I refuse to put a poor girl to death over a stolen meal.ā Her husband nodded to the guards and Byul-yi breathed a sigh of relief. Being a servant was a blessing if her only other option was to die.
He nods his head at her as he leans back more against his pillows to make it easier on her to remove the bandages. āItās a good spot for you, not many have the knowledge you do about herbs and salves they had to research it to know the things you knowā he tells her āare you going to the take the position then?ā He asked as he winced when she started to take the bandage off.

Being a servant was a blessing if her only other option was to die.
āI know there are ones who donāt support me or my family but the ones that do outweigh the ones who donāt so I do not fear them.ā He tells her with a soft smile and moves to put the sword back in its place and then turns back to her āwith you knowing so knowledge about the things that Moonās taught you, Namjoon might want to pick your brain about some things he actually doesnāt know.ā
Having her brain picked didnāt seem so bad if she would be recounting all the knowledge of what she had from them. She recalled Suki telling her that Namjoon was the princeās tutor, and a scholar who spent most of his time in the library. Byul-yi had never been to an actual library, and the thought of spending time there was exciting. She nodded with a small smile, and then Suki returned to collect her. āByul,ā she said from the door, āWe have to head to the kitchens now. Letās get some food in us before we have to serve.ā The prospect of food was enough to make Byul-yi eagerly head towards the door, but she remembered to turn and clumsily bow to the prince before they left.
A soft laugh escaped Jungkook as she did the clumsiest bow heās ever seen and left. So he went about finishing getting ready for the day and was out the door and headed to find namjoon for another lesson that lasted most of the day and then he was off doing things for his father that required him to be gone from the castle grounds with two of his guards but a sick feeling was in his stomach as they left and he couldnāt shake it, like something was going to happen today.
Hours later a lone horse ran into the castle grounds with a blood stained saddle and Jungkookās sword still there but a note was stuck to it. One that required the kingās attention soon. Yoogni, one of the most trusted knights ran the note into the main hall and king was outraged that someone took his son and could of done something worse to him. Every guard on the castle was gearing up to head and find the prince.
Byul-yi and Suki were called into the throne room and she could just feel the tenseness in the air. The queen looked to be in ruins and her husband was not far behind her, though he seemed to be trying to keep his calm. āSomeone has taken my son,ā the king announced to them, and Byul-yi was struck by a sickly feeling in her chest. Who couldāve done this? Was he hurt? Or worse? āByul-yi, you were raised by the Moons. Surely there must be something you can tell us...ā the queen practically sobbed, reaching out to grab the girl by her arm weakly. Byul-yi felt for her. The Moons were known for their prophetic abilities, but she wasnāt truly one of them. Any abilities she had were learned, and therefore weaker. Even so, she tried to think. āIf...if he went into town, I know of a group of people on the outskirts of town who might want to do harm to him. A small band of criminals, but surely no one with the gall to kill him...ā They had access to poisons unknown by most, though. Poisons that only a very few amount of people knew how to cureā her people. And if her gut feeling was right, the prince would be in grave danger if they didnāt find him soon. āI know where they are. I can lead the guards there.ā In a haste, the king gestured to one of the nearby guards, āGet her a horse and a blade.ā Turning to her again, he spoke in a broken voice, āI do hope you are right...please find my son.ā Byul-yi could do nothing but nod.
Jungkook was weak, he didnāt know what they did to him but the stabbing pain in his stomach meant he was stabbed with something but his whole body felt hot and he couldnāt stop sweating as he laid against the cold ground. He could tell he was in a cave but he didnāt know how he got here. He heard footsteps heading his way and the painful kick to his stomach roused him enough to glare up at whoever kicked him. āWho the hell are you...ā he groaned out as he tried to move but he knew he was to weak to do so. The man kneeled down infront of him and threaded his fingers through Jungkookās hair and made him look up at him āIām someone who doesnāt like your family and if you die your the last of the line for the throne...ā the man punched Jungkook in the face and his head smacked against the hard floor knocking him out but not before he heard a scream and swords clashing.
The sword they gave her was lighter than she expected, perhaps made of a softer metal and meant to be wielded by a small person. She shuddered slightly at the idea of using it at all, but sheād be damned if she let the king and queen down. As they rode towards the outskirts of town, one of the guards (Yoongi, he said his name was) tried his best to tell her the basics of using the sword without much demonstration. She soaked in the knowledge as best as she could, until they dismounted their horses a ways off from where the criminals camp was. Her hands gripped the hilt of her blade as tightly as possible, as she crept alongside Yoongi. Suddenly, they were spotted and the battle began. No one ran for Byul-yi at first, and she thought she might manage to look for the prince without having to engage in a fight. Her plan was folly, however, when she was knocked to the ground with a searing pain in her shoulder. Sheād been hit, but she didnāt have time to stop and inspect the damage. She got up and went completely by instinct, clashing swords with a man three times her size. He was big, but she was faster. He lumbered around her with wide swipes and she ducked as much as possible before she saw an opening, and promtly ran her blade clean through him. There was no time to celebrate her victory, because as soon as the men around her realized she was also a threat, they came for her just as quickly. She lost herself in the sounds of steel meeting steel and the feeling of splattering blood on her face, barely noting as each man fell.
After the battle had ended, Yoogni was dragging a man behind him. Alive but injure and he threw him down āhe knows were Prince Jungkook is but wonāt say a word about itā he says as he stomps on the manās leg that Yoogni may of broke on the way up to the others. The man screamed āIāll never say anything to you kingdom dogs!ā the man said āIāll kill you if you donāt say anything.ā The man whimpers āfine fine! Heās in a cave not far from here, itās where bandits always hide things heās in the back but you better hurry...I heard dragonās poison works fast...ā the man grinned and Yoogni knocked him out and then looked at Byul-yi ādo you know this cave?ā
Byul-yi heaved in a breath as she nodded, āIt isnāt far from here, but we have to go quickly.ā She turned, leading the guards towards the cave. āIf they really have dragon poison in him, weād better find him fast.ā It was deadly, dragon poison. The most potent poison of all. Byul-yi vaguely remembered one of the Moon family being poisoned by it when she was little, and they had been too late to save him. As she walked, her eyes scanned the ground until she hastily scooped up a handful of various plants growing in the brush. The flowers were yellow in color, vibrant blue in the center and covered in thorns that pricked her fingers. She cared little for the pain, trudging on as she plucked the petals and let them fall, until she had only a handful of the blue insides in her palm. āItās not a cure, but these will slow the poison until we can get the right herbs,ā she explained. It would require a delicately brewed tea, but the only people she knew had the right ingredients were the Moons. When they reached the cave, they entered quickly and it didnāt take long before they discovered the unconscious body of the prince. Byul-yi hurried over and forced the blue seeds into his mouth. āYouāll have to take him straight to the castle. Iāll go and get the herbs and be there as soon as I can.ā
Yoogni nods and along with a few guards they picked Jungkookās body up and took him outside of the cave onto a horse and Yoogni leaves a guard and two horses with her. āBe safe and hurry back...we will keep him comfortable until you arriveā Yoogni says as he heads off to the castle and hurrying and when he arrives they take him to his room and Jungkook is placed in his bed and a cloth over his head to help with the fever.
Byul-yi and the guard went swiftly towards a small collection of shacks just past the edge of town. People stopped and stared at them, clearly confused at the sight of a burly guard and a young girl covered in blood. She paid them no mind, though, only focused on seeing who she needed to see. She dismounted in front of the biggest shack, entering without announcing herself. For a moment, she was taken aback by the familiar scent of inscence in the room, but shook herself out of it. āMadam Moon, I need your help. The prince has been poisoned,ā she said, desperately looking at the old woman before her. Madam Moon, even in her old age, was still beautiful and full of youth. Byul-yi never gave much thought to it, but she had to be centuries old by now. Startled only slightly, the old woman began pulling various herbs from where they hung on the walls, and shoved them into Byul-yiās blood-covered hands. As their skin collided, Madam Moonās eyes went milky white and she stopped still with a sharp breath. āSave the boy,ā she said, in a voice that sounded like many voices, āHe is your future.ā Byul-yi didnāt have time to question the prophecy, and hurried out the door as fast as sheād entered.
Yoogni stood guard in Jungkookās room as Namjoon sat on the princeās bed and changed the cloth on his forehead. āThe fever isnāt dying at all Yoogni...ā Namjoon said as he dunked the cloth in water again and placed it back on his forehead as he was doing that Jungkookās mother, the Queen, came into the room and rushed over to her sonās bed. āOh...my sweet son...ā she mumbled as she ran her hand along his feverish cheek āwhy isnāt Byul-yi back yet?ā She asked Yoogni āI donāt know my Lady, she said she would be back soon after us...ā
Just as the words were said, Byul-yi and the guard burst through the door and she scrambled quickly to put the herbs on the bedside table. āPardon the intrusion, your grace, but we have little time. Iāll need boiling water,ā she said, her words short and chest heaving to collect air. A healer ruffled at the sight of her still-bleeding shoulder, and quickly moved to look at it. Byul-yi waved her away, running entirely on adrenaline as her shaking fingers plucked the herbs from their stems. Not a minute later, a servant returned with a kettle of boiling water and Byul-yi set about brewing the antidote. Her vision swam every time she moved, but she couldnāt stop to rest until the prince was cured. āSit him up. Heāll have to drink it while itās hot,ā she instructed, filtering the tea into a nearby cup.
Namjoon and Yoogni look at each and nod as the queen moves out the way and the two moved to either side of Jungkookās feverish body and sit him up, his head falling against Namjoon and he winced when he felt the fever against his shoulder and heard to soft groan of protest from Jungkook āI know Jungkook, itās only for a moment.ā He said mostly to himself, the Queen stood at the end of the bed, her arms crossed over her chest as she waited with nerves filling her body.
She fed him the tea with little difficulty, and it seemed as soon as the antidote was in his body he could breathe easier. Once he was laid down again, his pained face smoothed out and he slept soundly. Standing on weary legs, Byul-yi looked to Namjoon. āGive him some pine root to put in his cheek. It should break the fever quickly,ā she said, and the tense air in the room lessened. She turned to the queen next, who took her hands gratefully. āHeās going to be okay. I promise,ā she told the older woman. The queen gave a weak smile, before looking at her shoulder and wincing. āTake Byul-yi to the healing rooms immediately. See that she is given the best care,ā she commanded. Byul-yi wanted to refuse, but she could still feel blood flowing from her wound. She had surely lost a lot of it. She felt weak as a guard led her to the healing rooms, and barely made it to the door before her legs gave out. The guard picked her up and carried her the rest of the way.
After hours of being knocked out on his bed from the poison, he winced as he let out a soft cry of pain from his stomach and his mother who hasnāt left his room, laid a hand on his forehead. āDonāt move to much, my sonā she whispers as she kissed his forehead āyou are still injured and recovering from poison thatās as given to you and thanks to Byul-yi, she saved your life.ā She tells him as he closed his eyes again and relaxed against his motherās touch āsheās recovering to but she is fine Iām sure sheād be glad to know your awake.ā
Her shoulder required a lot of sitches, but luckily no infection was found. The healer informed her that if that had been the case, she mightāve lost her arm. Byul-yi went pale at the news, but was glad to hear it wasnāt that bad. Hours later, Yoongi entered the room to inform her that the prince was awake. She eagerly began to get out of bed, despite the healers telling her not to. āI want to see him,ā she told Yoongi, and he hesitantly agreed to take her. She had to hold onto him the whole way there, still wobbly from the blood loss. When they got there, he knocked lightly before entering. Byul-yi had been cleaned up, but she was still in need of a long bath. Before she entered, she hastily attempted to fix her rumpled dress.
Jungkook relaxed against the touch of his motherās fingers running threw his hair and closed his eyes for a moment. Hearing the knock on his bedroom door his mother rose from where she sat and went to open and smiles softly at the two behind it. āHello Yoogni, Byul-yi....are you well enough to be out of bed Byul-yi, your shoulder wasnāt in good shape when you went to the healers?ā She asked her but the stopped when Yoogni told her that she wanted to see Jungkook and she nods āheās awake but barely, heās exhausted but wonāt sleep to help him heal.ā
āSome lavender tea will knock him right out,ā Byul-yi offered her advice, knowing that sleep would be the best option for his health. Her eyes scanned over him and noted that the fever seemed to have broken, but he was still obviously in pain. āWhen you are feeling better, you must tell my husband your account of what happened. The guards tell us you fought valiantly alongside them,ā the queen said, a gentle smile on her lips. āIād surely like to clean up a bit more before I see the king...ā Byul-yi said, blushing and gesturing to herself. She was still covered in dirt and blood from the fight. āOf course. Return to the healing rooms and tell them to draw you a bath. I will send someone if there is any more news on my son,ā the queen told her, and Byul-yi reluctantly agreed. Following Yoongi once again, she glanced back at the prince only once.
The Queen nods her head at the option of lavender tea to help her son to sleep. She shuts the door behind her and walks back to her son and then to the desk that held teas and began brewing a lavender one for her son to drink to help him sleep. āShhh my son, drink this so you can sleep so it will help you healā she said as she lifted his head and helps him sip his tea and rested his head back against his pillow and sat beside him again and let her fingers run back through his hair.
Once Byul-yi was all cleaned up and feeling much better, she was led to the throne room. The king spoke hastily to a guard, but stood once she entered and hurried down the steps to greet her. Byul-yi was embarrassed as soon as he reached her, as he gave a grateful bow. āYou should be regarded as a hero in our halls, my dear. How is your shoulder?ā the older man asked, paying no mind to her red cheeks as he offered his arm to lead her into his study. āI feel fine, your majesty. No need to worry about me,ā she said softly. They sat and he ordered a servant to have some tea brought to them. It was so strange to have a king so worried for her safety and comfort. āNow then, if you donāt mind, would you tell me your account?ā he said, and patiently sat as Byul-yi told him all of what happened.
The Queen smiles down at her son as he finally fell asleep, the tea working wonders and knocking him right out and letting him sleep and start to heal from the fever and the wound. She keeps herself seated on his bed and her hand gripping his, squeezing it every so often, her thumb running across the back of his hand.
The King sat across from Byul-yi and listened to all that happened when they found his son. āIs that everything?ā He asked her as he looked at her āthis man, Iāve never heard of him before he sounds like he is a threat to the kingdom if he had the gall to kidnap my son.ā
āHeās a lowly criminal. He frequents the taverns and tells all kinds of tall tales about his thievery and supposed conquests,ā Byul-yi told him. āI doubt heās in charge. There must be someone above him who gave the request. Not to mention, thereās no way someone like him could gain access to dragon poison easily. Other, less lethal poisons, they have. But this one is highly dangerous to obtain. He mustāve gotten it from someone else.ā If they still had the man in custody, which she was sure they did, they would have to drill him for information.
āI thank you for saving my son, please go and get some rest and heal up. Donāt do any duties for awhile, your a hero to me and you deserve or rest for as long as you need to.ā He tells her as he stands up and bows slightly again towards her and leaves to room and Yoogni stands next to her āwant to go back to your room so you can rest?ā He asked her ābecause I donāt think Prince Jungkook will be awake until at least tomorrow, the Queen will make sure heās asleep for the rest of the day and night.ā
Byul-yi nodded in agreement. āI wonāt be much help while he rests anyways,ā she told him. Yoongi led her to the servantās quarters, and she thanked him before she tucked in for a well-needed rest.
The next day, word had spread throughout the town of what happened. The castle received an unexpected guest in the form of a few members of the Moon familyā Madame Moon herself and a few close advisors requested to meet with the king and queen, baring gifts to help aide the prince in his recovery. Suki told Byul-yi about this visit, and she wanted to see them before they left. She entered the throne room while they spoke to the king and queen.
The King and The Queen, who really didnāt want to leave her sonās side, was in the throne with a meeting with the members of the Moon family and listening to what they had to say before the King heard the door open and the King let out a soft laugh. āIt seems a member of your family couldnāt wait to see you....Byul-yi you can come in here, your most welcome in hereā the king says as he watches as she walks into the throne room and the Queen smiles softly at her.
Byul-yi smiled sheepishly and walked closer to her adoptive family, greeting them with soft smiles. Madame Moon took her into a soft side-hug and continued speaking to the royalty in front of them, āThese herbs and teas will do well for the prince, Iām sure of it. And Byul-yi knows how to make salves that will help further. You have a very fine girl in your midst, your majesties.ā Under the praise, she turned pink, but she was thankful for the kind words. āIs he awake yet?ā Byul-yi asked the queen quietly.
The Queen turns and looks at her with a soft smile on her face and nods her head āhe is but, heās very drowsy still so he might be napping if you go and see him but heāll probably awake when he hears his door open if you want to go and see him Iād be happy for you to go and check on him for me.ā She said with a smile āand Byul-yi, Iād like instead of you doing work I want you to become a healer for us.ā
āMe? A healer?ā she said, confused. She had the basic skills, but she wouldnāt consider herself a healer by any means. āI mean...if you think I should, Iām sure I could do it,ā she added, after a small squeeze from Madame Moon. The older sorceress chimed in with her own opinion, āYes, my girl can do that. I taught her myself. Very good with herbs and salves, and small prophecies if needed.ā Byul-yiāa cheeks darkened again. āSpeaking of, I have one last gift for you, your majesties,ā Madame Moon said, pulling a small trinket from her pocket. Byul-yi drew back away from her at the mere feeling of darkness coming from the metal trinket. She recognized it as a tool used to bring nightmares to those who harmed the Moon family. āOf course, not necessarily for you. But for the prisoner you surely still have in your dungeons. Perhaps it wonāt help much in the ways of extracting information from him, but a few bad dreams may shake him into giving in.ā She gave the trinket to a nearby guard, who hesitated to take it. āHang it just outside of his cell. Let it be known that the Moon family will not stand for such treasonous acts against the royal family.ā
The Queen nods her head bad moves to stand infront of Byul-yi. āYes, you as healer. If it wasnāt for you and your knowledge about herbs and poison...I would of lost my sonā she says with a smile āand I know youāll do us good in that position.ā The King looks at the trinket that he was given and gave it to a guard that will take it to the cells and hang it āThank you Madame Moon for your help with this, you must be exhausted so you may stay in one of our rooms tonight so you wonāt have to travel so late into the night.ā He offered her and the Queen looked at Byul-yi āif you want to see him, you can. He should be awake, just be weary of his stomach itās still in pain.ā
Byul-yi nodded in response, giving Madame Moon a quick hug goodbye before she went off to visit the prince. Namjoon was just leaving the room when she arrived, and greeted her with a small smile. āHeās restless in bed. He doesnāt like to be still for so long,ā he told her, chuckling. Byul-yi was sure the sight mustāve been something like seeing an injured wild tiger in a cage. The prince surely must be bored and ready to be healed. When she entered, she greeted him with a slightly more practiced curtsy (thanks to Sukiās lessons). āYour majesty, how are you feeling?ā she asked.
Hearing the door to his room open, he watched who walked in and he couldnāt help but to smile at the sight of Byul-yi walking into his room. āI feel fine all but my stomach but Iāve been told my Namjoon and my mother I canāt leave my bed for a few daysā he says as he sighs and rested his head back against his pillow, wanting nothing more to get out of this bed. āI wanted to thank you though, Namjoon said you saved my life because of the poison that those people injected into me. If it wasnāt for you Iād surely be dead.ā
Glancing at the time, he saw an hour has now passed since his new mix tape has been released to the world and he glanced up from the couch as the door opened and the other ran into the living room. āI can explain why I hid it from you Jagi!ā
āWe should call them and let them know how it went,ā Mei suggested, reaching behind him to attempt to fluff up the pillow under his head. āGet some good food in you first. Iām sure youāre hungry.ā
Yoogni nods his head and begins to pick at the food that Jin had brought him to eat so he didnāt have to eat the hospital food.
Mei picked a few things to eat, but she didnāt feel very hungry after being in the hospital for so long. She mostly left it to Yoongi for him to eat.
Yoogni noticed she only picked at the food and he slid over the plate as he leaned back against the pillows. āIām not hungry anymore that medicine is making my stomach upsetā he says which it wasnāt true but he knew Mei needed to eat and she wouldnāt waste Jinās food.
She believed his fib, and ate a little bit more. Afterwords, she felt a lot better. Namjoon and Jin made her laugh, so she easily forgot about her nerves.
Yoogni couldnāt help the small smile that took over his face as he she ate some. He sighs as he leans back against his pillows and watched as his friends talk and he couldnāt help but to feel drowsy again and let his eyes fall shut. Jin couldnāt help but to laugh as he sees Yoogni falling back asleep ādonāt worry Mei, heās still pumped full of medicine.ā
āI know. Iām glad heās resting,ā she said softly, boxing up the leftover food. A nurse came in to check his vitals while he slept, and Mei kept a protective hand on his arm the whole time.
Jin couldnāt help the other laugh that escaped him when he watched the nurse check on Yoogni and she kept a protective hand on him. āWell Ms. Mei you didnāt have to protect him from the nurse doing her jobā Namjoon said as he sat back against the couch.

Glancing at the time, he saw an hour has now passed since his new mix tape has been released to the world and he glanced up from the couch as the door opened and the other ran into the living room. āI can explain why I hid it from you Jagi!ā
āWe should call them and let them know how it went,ā Mei suggested, reaching behind him to attempt to fluff up the pillow under his head. āGet some good food in you first.

Being a servant was a blessing if her only other option was to die.
āI know there are ones who donāt support me or my family but the ones that do outweigh the ones who donāt so I do not fear them.ā He tells her with a soft smile and moves to put the sword back in its place and then turns back to her āwith you knowing so knowledge about the things that Moonās taught you, Namjoon might want to pick your brain about some things he actually doesnāt know.ā
