Journey into Mystery #648 - “Stronger Than Monsters III” (2013)
written by Kathryn Immonen art by Valerio Schiti & Jordie Bellaire
[PM] There is a group of people who co-opted the name of the beast for their terror organization. Suffice to say they’re horrid individuals that comprise an even worse organization.
[PM] Midguardians are fighting themselves while armies triple their size with technology they can only dream of lay in waiting at their gates. But it must be noted that civil wars have always been the most difficult in my experience. I see. They take a multi-headed beast as their sigil, to represent their resilience and might. But then hide like children. Their ancestors must be crushed under the weight of their cowardness.
[pm] Hydra
[pm] My understand is that it is a beast, not a man. Does it hold an alternate meaning here in Midgard?

These guys are the worst
[pm] Of which worst guys do you speak?
Hail Hydra oh exalted one!
I do not hail to beasts that hide in dark caves, and have poison in their veins. They’re not worthy of such an honor.
Lady Sif in Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. episode 2.12 ‘Who You Really Are’.
You are a dangerous monster!
Philinda + confused Asgardians

Is it really a good idea to be spreading Asgard’s history to everyone you come in contact with?
It wasn’t a full history lesson, that would take days.
It was all for not, however. Even after presented with such facts he still did not seem to believe.
I have returned from a very lengthy encounter with the pizza merchant who didn’t believe Asgardia was a real place. Fortunately, he was educated. Unfortunately, my pizza has turned as frozen as Jötunheimr’s mountain tops.
[PM] No. We have not been back since we left. I do not believe it is safe for us. We had to run. Sometimes I miss it but our home is here now.
[PM] From what your brother has shared, this seems like a better place for you both. Safer. One thing that seems to be universal amongst all creatures, is that fear can drive us to acts we never imagined we’d commit.
Sif and Frigga for gastfyr and Anon Request For Gamora and Nebula (x, x ,x, x)
[PM] Sometimes I can see every star in all galaxies. It’s beautiful. That sounds amazing, Sif. I’m a little jealous. Do they allow visitors? I come from a place called Wundagore Mountain in Transia. It was beautiful in it’s own way. Until I happened. We lived there as children.
[pm] No. But that doesn’t mean we don’t receive them, they just tend to be uninvited. And cause havoc and death when they do. Ask miss Foster. Do you visit often?
Important considering how much she hates Loki.
