[NOTICE] About BAPYProjects

Hello BABYs!

Guess it had been a really long time since you've last heard news from BAPYProjects..

Firstly, we would like to sincerely apologize for the abrupt halt in our updates & projects.. We're really sorry about it ); We won't ask for your forgiveness but we hope BABYs can understand.. The admins are all busy with their private lives..

However, do not worry because we had been sponsoring our lovely child every month. We will not give up on our child so do not worry (; the remaining BAPYFunds had been all used up for those months of sponsorship. Here are the screenshots of the transactions.

Sadly, as the admins are unable to continue our commitment in BAPYProjects, we have decided to close it down.. Or maybe temporarily(?) Sorry for disappointing BABYs who had high hopes/expectations for us );

Admin Jing. (@NeedNoMercy) & Xinyi (@HimDragon) will be continuing the sponsorship of our child starting from this month onwards. BABYs who are keen to provide your support may mention us at our twitter accounts (;

Lastly, we would like to gather all of your valuable feedback on how we should continue on from here. IF our admins were to continue organizing projects for B.A.P in the future, it definitely will not be carried out like how it used to be in BAPYProjects. We will not be able to organize projects very frequently for all important/meaningful occasions. Instead of coming up with our own ideas for the projects, we will open up a platform for BABYs to send in your suggestions/wishes on the types of projects that you would like to be organized for B.A.P. If the suggestions are workable - in terms of time, funds & success rate - we want to make your wishes happen in reality ^-^ As we have all noticed, B.A.P have a strong preference in BABYs donating to the less fortunate compared to sending in fan gifts to B.A.P. Thus, if we were to organize BABYs' suggested projects, we would like to support their thoughts by focusing more on projects that involves donations.

[BAPYCare] Our First Letter From our BABY!

Earlier on this week, we have received a letter from World Vision and it's from our Sponsored Child, by the name of Mi Zin Zin. It's the very first letter from her!!! (^ - ^ )** *Yeah*

Since Zin Zin is still at a very young age, hence the letter was written with the help of a volunteer over at the country. The letter was translated from Zin Zin's native language to English by the translator over there. In this letter, it talks about her personality, favorite food, festivals and various information about her daily life.

Extracted from the letter:

Greetings from Myanmar!

I am very delighted that you will be my friend and sponsor for helping my family and me.

I thank you very much.

My staple food is rice. My favorite food is an egg.

My personality is talkative.

My favorite festival is Pagoda Festival. We worship the Pagoda to celebrate the day.

I usually wake up at 6 o'clock in the morning.

I am Mon tribe. I live in Hpa-an, it is 320 away from Yangon city.

My place is in a Flat plain area.

My house is built of wood.

I go to the school on foot. I have 3 good friends in my school.

I want to be a teacher when i grow up.

BAPYProjects Team have written a letter in reply to this letter, together with it, we have included photograph of the admins and also B.A.P to allow the child and her family to know us better! In addition, We have also prepared a memo pad for Zin Zin as a gift to celebrate our sponsorship. Hope she likes the gift from us!

However, the processing of the letter will take at least 1 and a half month to reach Zin Zin primary due to the delivery and also translation of the letter's content to her native language. And in 3 months time, we should be able to receive a reply from her! Looking forward for her next letter! ^-^

An annual progress report on Zin Zin will be send to us by June 2014.

[ARTICLE] How K-pop Inspires Fans to Work Towards Their Dreams - Featured BAPYProjects

A few months ago, BAPYProjects have been interviewed by Green Tea Graffiti aka GTG on how k-pop inspires fans to work towards their dreams.

Here's the part of the article in which BAPYProjects are being mentioned;

Enter BAPYProjects.

BAPYProjects are a dedicated group who show their support on special occasions related to TS Entertainment’s boy group B.A.P. So what’s the story behind this fan group and what do they hope to achieve?

“At first our initial focus was only to help BABYs (especially international ones) by arranging projects where they can join and show support to B.A.P.,” proclaims the fan group.

The staff is made of admins from Singapore and Indonesia. Although BAPYProjects are still fairly new, they have already successfully launched three projects; one of which was called ‘Project BAP’. In this project, BABYs around the around would donate so that they could send a 20KG congratulatory rice wreath to B.A.P on their first solo concert. The fans did not disappoint. The donations were so huge that they managed to send an incredible 200KG rice wreath instead!

But donating rice is just one part of their contributions towards B.A.P.

“We all have passion to help others and we would like to have BABYs join us in helping others together, which is why you can see in our three previous projects we involved donating and charity. This way we are spreading B.A.P’s good name, creating a positive view of B.A.P in the society, and at the same time we receive satisfaction in our hearts by doing good deeds.

So far we’ve had around 26 countries participate in our projects and the largest number of participants was for our ‘BANG! Project’ which had a total of 131 individuals.”

As BAPYProjects shown, K-Pop fanbases are known to be quite creative when it comes to fan projects.

BAPYProjects Team is back with another birthday celebration project! This time we would like to invite BABYs to celebrate our Daehyunnie’s 21st birthday together through Project: [★DAEHoney]!

In this sweet celebration, we will be donating to ‘Power of a Mom’ movement, through ‘blood:water’ organization, on behalf of Jung Daehyun’s name. This donation will help in building proper maternity ward for mothers in Africa.

BABYs can record a part of themselves singing parts of B.A.P’s “Happy Birthday” song, and our team will compile it into 1 whole song. Isn’t it great to sing personally for Daehyun?

We’ve divided the song into several different parts, you can check below to see which part you think you can sing best. Then you can send us the mp3 file through email, or you can upload your voice in soundcloud account and email us the link for us to download.

Other than singing the song, you may also send us a record of your voice saying ‘Happy Birthday!’ in your native language. It’d be real sweet to let Daehyun hear birthday wishes from different languages and countries around the world!

Our team would also like to purchase gifts for Daehyun… So if BABYs willing to donate more, we’ll purchase special gifts for the birthday boy! ^^

2. What should I do with the tattoo?

Paste it on your hand, face, or any other parts of your body. Or if you want to, you may try pasting it onto your diary, notebook, etc and take photo of it. Send it to us through email. Do not edit or alter the photo in anyway. Our team will edited ourselves.

3. Any other way I can participate?

Yes. You can participate by writing 140 characters message to B.A.P, congratulating them for their 500th day anniv. Message in English, Korean are okay (but please make sure you do not send us a Google Translated Korean message) we will not accept Google translated Korean message.

4. Can I write my message in my mother tongue language?

You may, buy keep it as 140 characters message. And please provide translation.

5. Do I type my message?

Nope. Please send us your hand-written message. We Want the messages to have personal touches, which is why we've chosen to use hand-written message.

6. How do I send my message?

You can scan it in, or take photo of it (but please make sure the photo is clear and not grainy) and e-mail it to us. Or you can mail it through post to our admin. (Let us know if you prefer mailing it and we'll give you the mailing address)

7. Can I send fan-art?

Sorry. We won't be accepting fan-arts on this project :)

8. Can I participate by sending both photo and message?

Yes you may. You can email us both your photo with the tattoo and your message.

Thanks to all Babys who have join us for our project: [BANG!] to celebrate Bang Yongguk's birthday.

A total of US$2463.15 was collected from BABYs all over the world. *Click here to see how was the donation spent*

With the donations collected from BABYs, gifts such as shirts, jacket, notebook, photo mosaic(Framed) & ipad cover etc was brought for yongguk as gifts and US$365.00 was donated to Purme Foundation to build Korea's children's rehabilitation hospital. Food Support was also carried out on Yongguk's Birthday during their 'One Shot' last stage in Inkigayo. Other expenses includes packaging and shipping fees.

Without the support of BABYs, this project would not have been successful. Many thanks and appreciation to you guys.

Even Yongguk also appreciate the effort from babys and written a short note "Thank all~❤" in reply to BAPY Admin's post-it question. (Though its kind of grammatically wrong)

We donated in total US$ 365,00 to '천원의 기적' Program hold by Purme Foundation and we donated upon Bang Yongguk's name. Purme foundation is a non-profit organization committed to support people with disabilities by building a rehabilitation facilities to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services from the perspective of social welfare. The money we donated will be put into use to build Korea's children's rehabilitation hospital. We hope although the amount we donated was not much, but may it be useful for the kids and their family. Thank you BABYs for your donation... BABYs are truly beautiful even in their hearts!

March 31st was not only Bang Yongguk's birthday but was also 'One Shot's last stage in Inkigayo and a fansign event was also scheduled on the same day. Because the amount of donations we received from BABYs was more than enough... So, our team decided to take the initiative to provide 도시락 (Food Support) for Bang Yongguk, B.A.P Members and also TS Entertainment staffs. We thought it would be great to provide meal for our busy Mato warriors. Below are photos and info of the meal we provided for them...

Below are more detailed points on our current project: [ForHIM] BABYs~ please read below to understand better about this project!^^

1. COFFEE ForHIM We know that our Himchan is a coffee lover, so our team will be collecting/accepting coffees from BABYs around the world. But too much coffee is not good for him, so we will only accept 1 small sachet for each. We understand that each brand may have different types, so BABYs may send us maximum 3 sachet. 1 Brand for all 3 is okay, but it must be in different types. Example: Coffee 1 - Brand: Good Day Coffee 1 - Type: Mocacinno Coffee 2 - Brand: Good Day Coffee 2 - Type: Caribbean Nut Coffee 3 - Brand: Luwak Coffee Coffee 3 - Type: Luwak white coffee Hope that's a clear example for BABYs to understand... We would like to send varieties of coffee to Himchan, so we hope BABYs will check the coffee list in our site and make sure the coffee that each of you are sending is not listed yet~^^ BABYs who wish to send coffee, do not worry, you do not have to donate in order to be able to send coffee!^^ So... what are you waiting for.. fill in the form and send in your coffee soon! To send in your coffee, please fill in this Coffee form and we'll get back to you with confirmation and also mailing address! 2. TUMBLER ForHIM If we are going to send coffee to Him, then we ought to provide him a tumbler, so he can carry his drink around during his busy schedule. That being said, we will be ordering a custom made tumbler for Himchan. 3. UKULELE ForHIM Himchan and his abilities in playing musical instruments... we all know how good he is. So, our team thought it would be wonderful to provide a new instrument to learn and also play with. Also, given its small size, Himchan should be able to bring the ukulele around if he needs entertainment. We are ordering custom made soprano ukulele with his name engraved on it. 4. NECKLACE ForHIM Himchan and his eccentric fashion is known to all BABYs, right? kkkkk~ Also, how he loves using accessories. Seeing that, our team would like to order a custom silver necklace for the birthday boy. Along with pendants of items that are related to Himchan. Such as: his initials, matoki head, etc.

5. DONATION Although we were able to purchase some of the gifts, but there are still few items needing fund. We will be accepting donation, but we have lowered the minimum amount of donation specially for this project. For international BABYs: US$ 7 For Indonesian BABYs: Rp. 75.000 For SG BABYs: SG$ 10 BABYs may donate through Paypal, Western Union, ATM or concealed cash.
