With a self-released EP and a 7” under their belt, Baltimore’s atmospheric black metal crew Barbelith are set to release their full-length debut, Mirror Unveiled in November on Grimoire Records. In anticipation of that, SfB is proud to stream this exclusive track debut from that record.

Next performance
We are very excited to announce our debut full length album, "Mirror Unveiled", will be released by Grimoire Records November 1st on cassette, CD, and digital download. ANTI-MATTER RECORDS will be releasing the 12" record in February of 2015. Thank you for being patient, it will definitely be worth the wait.

Fantastic 5 track EP that is very generously up at ‘name your price’. Track 2 has become an all time black metal favourite of mine, the riffs and vocals are just spot on.
Our first batch of cassettes are now sold out! We working on producing more as quickly as we can.

Barbelith’s first show since August is next month, and it’s going to be fucking awesome:
Insect Ark is the drone/doom solo project of Dana Schechter, a former member of Michael Gira’s Angels of Light.
Terence Hannum is a member of Locrian and will be performing his abstract drone solo material.
Sleep Disorder is an awesome powerviolence band featuring at least one member of Noisem.

Our first show in 6 months is going to be very, very heavy.
Barbelith is an ambient Black-Metal band from right here in Baltimore, MD. These kids are really rad and it was a pleasure to print their designs.
AB Moore designed the T-shirt; including a a predator bird, attacking a two-headed snake, which is eating two mice, dogwood flowers (North Carolina represent), and a really cool lighting bolt (all of which can be seen in the pictures). She is a fantastic illustrator.
Tyler Davis (of ‘Monolith’)plays guitar and sings in Barbelith. He is the culprit wielding the large roll of black canvas that was shortly turned into 150 2” x 4”, and 4” x 4” patches. He also pulled the squeegee a few times, as well :-)
