Sorry for the previous rant lol. Anyways, I know I've said I've said I have multiple write-up posts in mind, and I have another to add to the list: seersucker vs madras, in disrespectful honor of the extreme heat my region is dealing with at the moment. Unlike the other little write-ups I have planned, I'd like to do some proper research on each fabric, show some examples from my collection, throw in my preferences and whatnot. I just fear that it'll turn into one of the many little essays on fashion that we see everyday. We will see how that goes.

It's such a pain trying to find a decent green OCBD; I mean yeah, there's probably a couple hundred to pick through on secondhand sites, but they're all going to be PRL or retail priced striped no-iron BB shirts. Now of course I love RL; I think they've dominated the entry-level price & decent price market of Oxford shirts, and Ivy clothing in general, but as I've gone through this fashion adventure, I have preferences that RL just doesn't meet when it comes to shirting. I say all this to say that finding a decent solid green OCBD sucks because the market is composed almost entirely of secondhand PRL and I don't want those because PRL has to stick its damn pony where a shirt pocket should be. I want a shirt pocket. That's all

It’s 90 degrees in February because people are using ChatGPT to help them style clothes and pick their next books to read. Ignoring the climate anxiety for a moment, at least I get the chance to wear madras before spring starts

It’s been well over a year since I’ve posted or written anything at all. My wardrobe has expanded tenfold (more like five, really) since then, as I’ve been exploring other makers and actually tailoring my closet for my current size (who says a fat man can’t dress well?). I’ve gone from just sporting some shoes, pants and an Oxford to layering sweaters (as needed), having more choices in outerwear, etc. Gathering all my images/taking more photos this week, hoping to have them all by this weekend, and I’ll finally write some snippets about the brands I wear and my style journey.
