Courtney
I would like to nominate my friend Courtney. Her weight loss journey started before she came into my life, but since the last year she has lost 163 pounds. In the past four short months of knowing her she's lost 68 pounds. She has more drive and motivation when it comes to working out and staying healthy than I've seen in most people. While working with her in the gym over these four months she has never quit, complained or not attempted to do an exercise. She never uses excuses and makes sure to keep heading towards her goal even with a full-time job. She has gained a following on social media networks and has people reaching out to her to hear of her success story and asking how they can follow in her foot steps to change themselves. She has one of the biggest hearts I know and always sees the positive in every situation she approaches. Her outgoing and genuinely friendly personality makes her a delight to be around. She has a caring nature, shows empathy and respect for others and is full of love for everything. I cannot put into words the amount of respect and admiration I have for her. She is absolutely uplifting and motivational to be around. I have never been around someone that makes me realize that I can and should be the best version of myself no matter what. She is truly a beautiful woman inside and out.The decisions she has made to change her life around to pursue her goal is, in my eyes, an incredible model of self worth and happiness to anyone around her. If she were to win this summer makeover it would give her such a boost of confidence.
