Hello! I'm so happy to see people still enjoying baroryuu enough to want to see another week for it. This ship still holds a special place in my heart... But I definitely don't have it in me to run any more events around it. You don't need a blessing from me to run a ship week! I don't have any authority over it, even if I would give you my full blessing for it lol.

But, I'll tell you what. I'm going to change the url of this blog to baroryuuweek2023, so the current url will be free, should anyone else want to host a similar event possibly multiple times.

An hour late in my timezone but it's still Day 7 in others! The last day for @baroryuuweek has arrived! We finish off the narrative for this AU; it's been fun!

Day 7: Free day! Tags: Modern au, supernatural elements, crack treated seriously, DGS2 spoilers CWs: Specific descriptions of pain and violence, hands/grabbing imagery Preview summary:

Let's take stock of what's happened now: the blob monster from the rumors somehow managed to break through most of the preliminary protective measures on the mountain and made it as far as the inn itself; Ryunosuke egged it on because he's an idiot on multiple accounts; while he managed to weaken it a bit, he got himself swallowed by the blob monster because he saw the foreigner inside. With some joint pains that are definitely bad signs for a guy in his mid-twenties, Ryunosuke gets on his feet.

I had to draw Barok swooping in to save Ryunosuke from some scoundrels, posing as the hero of a romance novel in the process.

I wanted to draw a second piece with Ryunosuke defending Barok during his trial, but ended up not having the time.
