"W-wait-!" He grabbed his hands a bit tighter again.
"I am not ready for you to let go yet-"
"Alright, alright. When ever you’re ready."
After a few more steps, he let go of Lilith's hands slowly.

Lilith’s vessel had changed for the time being, not wanting to do in the man previous, the demon had opted for a woman again.
"I can assure you, Baruch, You wouldn’t want to drink this kind of… juice." She held the wine bottle behind her back, "It’s not very good at all." Turning on her heel Lilith waved a hand, materializing a cabinet in the room and swiftly locking the wine within.
"How about Apple juice? or Chocolate milk?" Kids liked that stuff, didn’t they?
"Over a year…" he frowned, but didn’t stop working.
She reached over, gently patting his head. “Well that year will end tonight.”
He smiled brightly.
"Yeah! I am so excited!"
Lilith loosened his own hold. “How does it feel?”
"It still feels kind of weird…but it is not very scary."
"I’m going to let go, but I’ll be right behind you." He loosened his grip even more, barely holding his hands.

"We are going to walk a bit?" His hands tightened onto Lilith’s. "A-Alright…" he nodded a bit.

"Alright. Simple enough." She pushed the meat around in the pot.
"...will you try some if we figure out the missing ingredient?"
"It’s alright! I’m right here." Lilith set his other and on Baruch’s to steady him more.
"My magic won’t give out anytime soon."
He didn’t let go of Lilith’s arm or hand, and he squeezed his eyes shut.
"I just need to get used to not being on the ground…"
He reoriented himself floating closer, “Here.”
He drew a line with his index finger, an invisible platform appearing just below Baruch. “Extend your legs. Like there’s ground below you.”
He nodded, then slowly did as he was told.

"Of course I can." She picked up the meat and walked over to the stove. She set it down, pulling out a pot and beginning to brown the meat. "After the meat is cooked then what do we do?"

"No, not really. I’m just really bored."
"Oh…" he suddenly lurched, and scrambled to stay still, clinging to Lilith’s hand tighter while also now closer to him, clinging desperately to his arm.
"It’s alright! I’m right here." Lilith set his other and on Baruch’s to steady him more.
