I know its been a while, and for the most part its been radio silence, but in the light of S3E1 I felt it was necessary to say a few words:

A big thank you to all who visited my etsy shop after my last signal boost. Your kindness and willingness to help has been overwhelming and I am beyond words in my gratitude to you all.
For those who don’t know, I am currently trying to move to Boston, because my lease where I am runs out at the end of the month. Things are a bit weird with my job right now, and I’m barely making enough to eat, let alone cover moving expenses, rent for my new place, and the fact that until june first I need to use $120 a week to commute to my job in Boston from Rhode Island where I live. As things stand, I may become homeless if I can’t scrape together enough money by the end of the month. I’ve put up a ton of stuff in my Etsy shop, clothes, cosplay props, funky little accessories, etc, to try and help get me out of this scrape.
I have also decided to open commissions.
As you can see, I am a scherenschnitte artist, who now makes stencils for patches (as seen in the large photo) as well as paper cuttings. You will notice in the top left corner of my blog, there is a donation button. Literally every penny helps, so if you have anything to spare I would greatly appreciate it. However, if you donate over $5 you can message me and I will cut you a custom stencil of anything you want! Any fandom, any character, and I will send you the patch in return for your contribution. For every $5, I will make you a patch of your choosing, or you can just give me a fandom(s), and I’ll decide what patches to make. If you even want the stencil itself to use in future projects, feel free to request it and I’ll send it along with the patch for nothing extra.

I know you know I don’t normally do this, in fact, I’ve never done this, but I really need your help.
Im currently in a very weird place with my new job, (IE they’re starting my training a week later than they told me they would) and I literally have 47 cents to my name right now. I am scheduled to move out of my apartment on the first of june, as that’s when the lease is up, but as of right now, even if I work all of the remainder of this month, I will not be able to afford to move in or pay rent on my new house, leaving me actually homeless. I’m doing the best I can right now in terms of saving money, I barely eat, and when I do, I eat salad dressing on rice because it’s all I have. PLEASE FOLLOWERS I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP. ABOVE IT THE LINK TO MY ETSY SHOP, I SELLING QUITE A FEW THINGS, AND MORE THINGS SHOULD BE ADDED WITHIN THE WEEK. OOC: Hello friends, fans, and followers.
In case you don't remember who I am, my name is Ly, and I started the first Sebastian Moran Cosplay Ask Blog. Which is this one.
I know it seems like I've disappeared into the aether as of late, and, well, I have.
This blog was a way to make friends when I had none in real life. I'd decided to take a semester off from school because I had a mental breakdown. I was alone and broken when I found the Sherlock fandom. After joining with zeal, I wanted to contribute. So I noticed that the only Jim blog didn't yet have a Sebastian, and MorMor was (and still is) my OTP. Even though I used to only RP as Jim back in those days, I figured that I had enough ugly flannel to give Seb a try.
That is how I started cosplaying. If you were ever thinking about cosplaying, but you weren't sure, DO IT. It's easy as a webcam and an oversized plaid shirt. Through this blog, and the cons I went to as Basher, I have met some of the most wonderful people I have ever met in my life. I have had experiences with like minded people that I never could have thought existed. I have run around and suffered in all kinds of crazy cosplay. And I've purchased a lot of fake guns.
I never thought that this little venture would lead to relative internet popularity, or as some have even addressed it, "tumblr fame." And it has been the most amazing journey, because of all of you. Every single one of you who has touched my life in some way through this blog, even if we didn't part on good terms. It wouldn't have been nearly as fin without all of you sending questions, attending the livechats, introducing yourselves at cons, interacting with me in cosplay. The whole experience has been so unbelievably amazing that, I'm doing the only thing a writer can do when their life has been drastically changed by something: I am writing a novel about it. This blog has slowed for a number of reasons, the main one being that I'm finally ready to go back to real life. I have all these brilliant friends that I've met through this that I'm spending time with irl, I'm working hard so that I can buy grown-up clothes that aren't meant to be worn by a 40 something year old hitman, I have two frogs as pets now, I just started my own business on esty (go to my personal blog for the link), and most importantly, I'm going back to school come january. For all these reasons, I'm not in cosplay nightly any longer, thanks to all of these new and wonderful opportunities arising.
There is one last photo shoot form Another Anime Con that will be coming around soon. After that, expect Basher to post his final sign off. I will be leaving this blog entirely in tact, because it is a work of art, in costumery, writing, and acting, and I would hate to destroy such a thing. If I continue to cosplay Seb at cons, I may post the occasional con spam here. Also, I AM STILL CONSULTACRIMINAL'S SEBASTIAN UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
And with that, I, say goodbye. I'll let Seb do it himself when he feels ready.
It's been grand, everyone. Thanks. Really. I'm glad this is how the story ends.
