meh, I’ll meet you there. Unless you want to pick something up from the room, there’s not much reason for you to walk all the way over here. Just tell me what time were meeting up
James made his way to his first class of the day, bag slung over his shoulder. It was the first Wednesday of his second year in college and he was a lot more energetic than most people would consider acceptable at 9 in the morning. Bouncing up the steps on his way to the second floor lecture hall, he hummed in excitement. You wouldn’t think so by looking at him but James loved classic literature. He grew on it, due to the small library his father kept in his home office.
He entered the large classroom and sat down in one of the side section, towards the front, to be able to pay attention well in class. After pulling put his notebook and computer he sat mindlessly doodling in his notebook while music played into his head through one earbud
Regulus did his best to prioritize first impressions with his professors. After all, it wasn't enough to excel academically - to him, that meant nothing if he didn't present himself as a responsible student as a whole. This belief was especially strong amid his first week of college ever. He arrived to his classes as early as he thought he could without seeming odd (an equally unpleasant concept), and over the last couple of days, he'd grown accustomed to being the first in the classroom. It was for this reason that when he walked into his 9AM Classic Literature course, an iced coffee that was almost purely espresso clutched in his hand, he felt almost challenged by the fact that another student had arrived before him - sitting right where he always liked to sit, no less.
He took a few large gulps of coffee as he approached the table, forcing himself to not instantly ask to sit where the other boy was sat - he knew full well that might seem a bit ridiculous in a classroom full of empty seats. So much for routine. He sat at the same table as the other but on the opposite end, arranging his books and laptop in front of him while doing his best to ignore his own annoyance as well as the other's existence. However, when he realized his (admittedly attractive) classmate was doodling, he couldn't resist the urge to be nosey. "...What are you drawing?" He asked, eyeing the notebook but not moving any closer.

James’ head shoots up in surprise when he heard the voice. It was the first sound the other student had made, so his presence was not known to James until that moment.
“Hi…” he was going to say more. But then he saw it.
The most beautiful,
handsome,
stunning,
ravishing,
other worldly
Creature he had ever seen.
and james (the stupid git) malfunctions little.
”um-i-uhh-oh shit, right” He eventually said, quite eloquently, as he looked down.
“Oh, nothing special. Just doodles.” Smiling when he looked up again (his breath leaving his body, yet again, when he saw the boy)
