third trimester / 28 weeks pregnant 

How am I now in my third trimester? As well as nearing the final 10 weeks of my pregnant and then I’ll have a baby its crazy to me that soon she’ll be here in our arms. She’s sure as hell outgrowing her lil home in my tum right now, so much so that my skin itching I mentioned in my last post as kept coming and going. My bump, boobs and my hips are all constantly itchy. I’ve been using a lot of coconut based produce on my skin (particularly cocoa butter), it’s really working wonders.

Nick, baby girl & I got to go away on a lovely family thanksgiving break to aspen. Hence the surroundings in the photos above look a little out of the normal for me. Mona hosted the most lovely break there. We were joined by Mona, Pierce and the boys of course. As well as Ellie and Adam, Shyand her family. It was the most beautiful time, Mona and Shy definitely  cleaned out the lodge of the wine lmao. 

what am I looking forward to? Enjoying my maternity break, I’m also going to get started on my holiday shopping, some presents and some decorations! As well as I mentioned last post, our 4D scan! My app is telling me she will have all her distinguishing features so I am excited to see if she looks like her old man or me more!

I know I had mentioned I have a lot more to share with you all and that’s still true! I’ve got to share Nick & I’s marriage story. I didn’t mention what I had to share in my last post, but if you follow me on twitter then you know! Nick and I eloped! I’ll tell you all about it soon. I hope all your thanksgiving celebrations were amazing, filled with love and spent with those you love the most! And if you participated in black friday I hope you shopped safe.. I stuck to the online aspect of black friday!

happy halloween / 24 +3 weeks pregnant

It’s been a while and for that I apologise! Life has been so hectic these past two months, with our move, work and plus obviously being pregnant. I’ve just not had the time to sit down and write a pregnancy update. 

As you can read, I’m 24 weeks! So I’m just gonna summarise how everything has been thus far being just over half way there. I have been kind of lucky this pregnancy, I’ve not had many of the negative symptoms you can get in pregnancy. That being said, recently I’ve been having crazy heart burn as well as some joint pain. Completely normal things but just not the most enjoyable! 

We also did the harmony test earlier in our pregnancy then recently announce WE’RE HAVING A BABY GIRL. I’m so stoked and so is Nick! We’ve been keeping a lot of things to ourselves, letting us enjoy it then we’ll announce it later, which I have to say has been complete bliss. 

What am I looking forward too? Well, next week we’ve booked in for our ultrasound and also plan while there to book in out 4D ultrasound for when we are in our 30 weeks! I’m also looking forward to wrapping up my job for some well earned maternity leave. For those who don’t know, I work as a TV presenter on a kind of morning tv/talk show! So it’s pretty strenuous, safe to say we’ve had to add many sitting segments in. 

I’ve got so much more to share that I didn’t want to slip into this post! So stay tuned for that. As well, while I’m posting Happy Halloween!!! I’m dressed up as Winnie the Pooh, incase you couldn’t tell from the photos above. I hope everyone’s spooky season has been a blast. And I hope their kids enjoy trick or treating tonight (if you celebrate Halloween) and stay safe.

we’re getting hitched

I’m so happy to finally tell everyone Nick & I are engaged. We’ve been engaged for around a month or so but we wanted to just keep that to ourselves for a little while. Plus with the pregnancy and such, felt as if it was a lot to throw at everyone. 

As well as that, we were waiting for my ring to be finished! It was flew in from Cartier HQ, France! So thrilled, he did good right? I’m so happy and blessed that I’ve found a man as great as Nick. 

So I guess you’re all gonna be hit with pregnancy & wedding orientated now. How great? More material! YAY.
