there was a lot of zelink in totk it was just more subtext and packed into bits and pieces you had to work to find and read

was this in response to my tweet thats kinda ironic to send an ask about it on my barely active tumblr instead of replying lol.. But Yeah i do tend to try to dig for every little bit of lore whenever im playing a game, and i would argue that i felt that BOTW had a lot more to explain what link & zelda's relationship was like before the events of the game compared to TOTK ... the subtlety did feel strange to me and i figured that there wouldve been more evidence of how they spent time together after the calamity. Liek i just thought there was a lot of potential that didnt really come to fruition especially since there was a lot of character development with the two respectively during the years between the games lolllll
